We arrived on a beautiful day this late April. We were greeted at the door and taken to our room upstairs called "The Balcony Room" There was a door to a tiny balcony with two chairs. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and lots of sunshine flowing thru the windows. We walked to an adorable little town...

This is the time to reflect on the past year...As I think about 2012, truly a high point was my three day stay at the Dancing Bear Guesthouse in August. My room was comfortably furnished and equipped with room air conditioner which I only needed for a few short bursts. Bathrooms are spotlessly clean and the common lounge areas decorated...

This B&B was very convenient to the sites to see in this cute little artsy village. The host was so helpful and accommodating with great suggestions of places to eat. Breakfast was fresh and very good. Exactly why I enjoy staying at B & B's. The only reason, however, that I did not rate this establishment higher was that we...

We had a great time visiting with Phil. He served some great blueberry crepes. A great house as well with some history and character. This is a great location to walk to just about anything in town. The falls, flowers, art co-op or potholes. Nice quiet street as well.

My family stayed here for one night in August. The owner his very nice and friendly and the location is incredibly convenient to Shelburne Falls. The only disconcerting part was that the living quarters of the house aren't really separated from the part of the house that's rented as a B&B. What that meant was that the room my children...

I just got back from a weekend of Ziplining at Berkshire East. While in the area, I stayed at the Dancing Bear. The location REALLY IS within walking distance of everything, while still being off the "main drag". Within a couple blocks, you can visit the Bridge of Flowers, the Glacial Potholes, and more restaurants & cafes (along with galleries...

We had never stayed in a B&B and were fairly anxious, but everything was wonderful. We showed up later in the evening than is normal, but they were ready for us and made us feel very comfortable. Perfect location, great atmosphere, kind hosts, fresh breakfasts, clean rooms. They didn't impose, but were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Even...

Phillip, who owns and runs the Dancing Bear is such a welcoming and interesting host. He made us a delicious, freshly baked breakfast in the morning which included delicious cinnamon rolls and fresh juice. Our room (it had a balcony, but I can't remember what it was called, I'm afraid) was clean and tidy and right across the corridor from...

Shelburn Falls is a nice little community tucked in the Berkshires. The potholes were stunning, and the Bridge of Flowers was beautiful. Phillip, the owner/manager was very pleasant and accommodating. He was helpful and a super nice guy. Assisted us in finding a place to eat. Nothing but gracious. However, the home and rooms were dirty. There is no other...

Shelburne Falls is a lovely little town certainly worth a visit. Don't miss the falls, the glacial pot holes, the flower bridge, the Jeremy Sinkus art glass factory at 4 Deerfield Ave, and the terrific Clark Museum in Williamstown (the current Pissaro exhibit is excellent). We had dinner at The Whatley Inn in Whately. You get an entire meal with...
