Chatham Tides garners praise for its exceptional value, boasting renovated rooms with breathtaking ocean views, despite occasional concerns over cost. The hotel's prime location is a hit among guests for its scenic vistas, beach access, and proximity to local attractions. While the rooms earn accolades for cleanliness and comfort, some guests suggest improvements due to noise and small bathrooms.
Amenities, including private beach access and kitchenettes, add to the appeal. The staff's friendliness and the overall clean, modern atmosphere contribute to a relaxing seaside retreat.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed in one of the studio rooms with a full kitchen, facing the beach. The room was very clean - you could smell cleaning products as soon as you walked in. That made us feel comfortable, traveling during Covid. All the appliances worked well, and the kitchen is stocked with plates, dishes, silverware, etc. There is no dishwasher but dishwashing liquid and dishtowels are supplied. The bed was VERY comfortable! TV had good cable and a comfortable couch while we listened to the waves. The bathroom was a perfectly acceptable size. I think the only complaint I had was that there is a lot of lighting outside and it did somewhat dampen the mood, but it's understandable why the lighting is there. We enjoyed both an amazing sunset and a wonderful sunrise the following morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back!

We just returned from Chatham Tides, where we were celebrating a quick getaway for my husband’s 40th birthday. We loved our trip, the town of Chatham and the hotel property. It was great having a private beach literal steps from our doorway, and to listen to and watch the ocean day and night. We took a kayak out one morning and got to enjoy a calm ocean all to ourselves.
We were in a King efficiency on the ground floor, which is one of the closest rooms to the beach. The room itself wasn’t luxurious, but it was totally clean and comfortable and we never once felt anxious about potential Covid-related issues. If you want housekeeping, tell the front desk, because during the pandemic they’re limiting staff access to the rooms (makes sense). We will absolutely go back to the Chatham Tides, maybe with our kids next time! We’ve never seen so many beautiful seashells in one place. Head to the fish pier to watch the seals and score the best-ever lobster roll, and for a more fine-in (or out) experience, go to Mac’s Lobster in town.

Spent 6 great days on the Cape at the Chatham Tides right on the water. Our room on the 2nd floor overlooked a small parking area right near the ocean but we could still hear the waves. Room itself was good sized and had a very comfortable king sized bed, full fridge, stove and couch. The staff including John and Jay were extremely pleasant and helpful. They have a newer Weber gas grill available for use (very clean) and we used it on 3 nights for dinner, sitting outside on the deck overlooking the water. Doesn't get much better than that. Beach was nice and they have some Adirondack chairs for use. Can't wait to go back in October.

We stayed here for the first time, and generally, we were pleased. The room is very small, the refrigerator mini sized, and low, and there was not enough space for a microwave, or a place for our limited (2) cups, plates or bowls to dry. We needed a reservation for housekeeping services, and they came once in six days, due to COVID-19. We still paid over $300 per night for the room, which did have a wonderful view. We also had two dogs, but over paid for that as well, as there was no refund policy if they did no damage. The other guests were delightful, and all stopped by to say hello to our pets as they passed b y.The owners were pleasant, and readily dispensed coffee pods, towels, and toilet paper. The beach is a little tough to get to, but younger people had a ball playing games during the day. Overall, a very peaceful getaway.

Outstanding service right from the start. We checked in at almost exactly 3PM and the front desk manager personally checked on the status of the room to be sure it was good to go. You really don't see that at a lot of places anymore and it was much appreciated. The cleanliness of the room was more than we could have asked for, and the condition of the furniture was immaculate. We LOVED the little kitchen area and cooked most of our meals in the room! The views from the balcony were the best we've ever experienced and extended all the way to the bed. I think we all agreed that we got the best sleep ever at a hotel and finally found ourselves fully relaxed within just a few hours here. I can't say enough good things about this property and the staff. We will surely be back every year now that we're established guests!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chatham Tides. We had initially booked an efficiency room, but we decided to upgrade to an Oceanfront Townhouse with a full bath (with tub) and full kitchen; and we feel it was well worth it. Jay was very helpful assisting us with this change. The room was large, very clean, and decorated in light, Cape-style colors. There were dishes, silverware, a regular coffee maker and a Keurig, and even a toaster. The room had a wonderful view of the ocean, and it was a quick walk down to the private beach. We'd definitely stay here again!

+1
This place is absolutely fantastic. A feeling of peace surrounds the whole property. We stayed in upper floor oceanfront condo #23 and it was spacious and impeccably clean.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the pillows and bedding soft like a cloud.
The various lodging units are scattered on a slight hill which means good views for everyone. We parked on the same level as the condo, so there were no stairs to climb.
The balcony was large with nice furniture, the beach was stunning and we enjoyed sitting in the clean and sturdy Adirondack chairs that the Inn provides.
Lastly, the staff just couldn’t be nicer! They provided tips on restaurants snd activities, and made it clear that they were there for any need or question we might have.

Great location! Just steps from the gorgeous beach! The room was updated, clean, and spacious. The kitchenette was clean and nicely separated from the bedroom. The fridge was nice and cold unlike hotel fridges. The kitchenette has plates, bowls, dish soap, and a small pan and some utensils. Just bring your own oil and seasonings! Everything was great and would definitely stay here again!

Great place with a few things that could improve. Townhouse needs some ADA improvements like grab bar in the showers, higher toilets also bedside table in both sides of the bed, cleaner couches, better kitchen items. Love the view and the beds!

We stayed here three nights as our base for a first trip to Cape cod. The location is very nice, waterfront with private beach. There is also kayak, life jackets, paddle board and beach towel etc, unfortunately we didn’t have time to use as there are so many things to do in Cape Cod. The ground area and the private beach are beautiful and well maintained with lots of birds and rabbits.
The room is a little worn but very clean and the bed is super comfortable. Shower area is a bit tight but with high water pressure. The room has a fridge and microwave and even cutlery and plates and bowls. It is older building so the sound insulation is very poor hence can hear lots of noise and foot steps, toilet flushing etc from upstairs. We are sound sleepers so it didn’t bother us too much.
The wifi was the only let down. No wifi from around 10pm till 8 - 9 am inside our unit. We had to go outside to load the email, messages, news etc. I had a work meeting by zoom on the second night and the host was kind enough to give me a password for the office wifi for that night to use.
