We come to the Red Lion a few times a year. We love the main inn and we also love the other houses. This Thanksgiving we came and stayed until Saturday. The place was very busy but everyone was so nice. Our holiday meal was fabulous and the next night our waiter, Ronny, even went back to the kitchen and... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 24 October 2016

There are not enough superlatives for The Red Lion Inn. The stay is always exceptional, the food is always exquisite and the staff is second to none. Every request is honored and always with a smile. Simply the best. As my mother always says: The only thing The Red Lion Inn overlooks is Main Street! More

Quaint, old New England Inn, the Red Lion is a fun experience for all. My wife and i have stayed here several times. This turn was at the height of fall foliage season which is very popular with so many to enjoy the colorful spectacle throughout the region. They have many options for accommodations, our room was in the main... More

my daughter and I came up over Thanksgiving weekend. We stayed in the Sullivan House on the first floor. Nice old rustic room, the entire area amazingly quiet. What we enjoyed about the Sullivan house is that my 23 year old daughter wanted to sleep late yet I could get up and walk a tiny amount to the common room... More

The Red Lion Inn is just what you would imagine. People are sitting in the front room reading newspapers by the fire. You can have finer dining or go into the Tavern or basement bar. Remember, this is an inn without all the extra frills in the room like a hotel. I am sure I could have gotten an iron... More

My sister and I only went in for lunch. The staff was very polite and friendly. The butternut squash soup was amazing, as was the turkey with stuffing sandwich. It is a little pricey, but I would definitely dine here again. Very clean. Decent parking.

Apart from The Berkshires being amazing, this hotel is a complete experience. It's like going back in time, it is full of interesting little details and it's so cozy, had one of the best days ever. The rooms are decorated with such good taste, the restaurant is delicious the whole experience is worth the visit.

Enjoyed our first time stay at this historic inn. It is a very busy place with a fine restaurant, good quiet rooms and a friendly staff. We particularly enjoyed the sitting areas. Very clean historic environment. Recommend a stay.

I am really disappointed! I have wanted to come to this particular Inn, because of it's history, and location! We arrived, the room was lovely and of course old! The time we stayed there, it was quite cold and windy, and unfortunately this was reflected in the room! The 1st night wasn't too bad as far as being cold, but... More
