Staying at Le Cog Chantant is a treat! (A bit pricey, but then, what isn’t in Switzerland!) The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Guests are well looked-after. We found complimentary wine, fruit, snacks, tea and coffee making facilities awaiting us on arrival. We had the Brel room on the ground floor - extremely spacious, comfortable and stylish with a...

This place is beautiful and very expensive. You will discover a beautiful village and the rooms are clean big and beautiful. For the price you pay, you will be happy to discover it. But one big negative point for me is the bed ! It is really not comfortable. I was very disappointed because everything was good otherwise. Be careful...

We had a very big - and comfortable - well equipped room with a kitchenette and an espresso machine. We had some fruit and a bottle of VERY good local wine in the room. Breakfast was served in a lovely small garden and we had perfect weather. The owners were especially nice and made reservations for us at a local...

Its just a great B&B . Meredith welcomed me warmly and really looked after transport as well as restaurant bookings , friendly and helpful throughout. The room was spacious and well equipped with nice extras of a wine in the fridge , some fruit and snacks etc . The breakfast was superb with fresh fruit some of which was picked...

We had a great experience staying at le Coq Chantant in St-Livres. It is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but in my opinion, a luxury boutique hotel fits the description better. The village is located in a beautiful wine region within the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Francis is the architect and...

Le Coq Chantant is a real hidden jewel, tucked away in the serene village of Saint-Livre. That puts it some distance away from the main towns and business centres, but with a hire car it took me only 10 or 15 minutes peaceful drive to Rolle where I was working - and since I didn't need to get on the...

I seriously considered not writing this review. This B&B is SO GOOD that I don't want too many people to know about it, otherwise it will be constantly booked and I may struggle to rebook it for future trips. However, my honourable side won out and I feel obliged to let the cat out of the bag. You owe me!...

This is a wonderful homely place to stay. It is crisp clean and hidden in the heart of St livre. We met the architect who designed it and lovely Anna who made us feel at home. A gorgeous way to visit this part of the world.

Well if you keep coming back to the same B&B on Lake Geneva and invite colleagues to join you then I think that probably tells the story : nice room , good service , lovely quiet village - nice ' extras ' such as local wine in the fridge and local bakery nibbles and good quality bathroom stuff . Breakfast...

We stayed at Le Coq Chantant for just one night and we loved it. The room we were assigned was the ground floor and it suited us perfectly with a toddler and lots of luggage. The welcome we received was warm and made us feel right at home. The room is comfy and had everything we could ask for, the...
