The Sturbridge Country Inn was an unexpected delight. We had not planned on staying there on our "college tour trip". We happened onto it rather late and were pleased to find that there was "room at the Inn" The entire family enjoyed our stay. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. They accomodated all of our needs and... More

On Friday December 9th after the second snow falling in CT, my girlfriend Bonny and I set off down route 169 to celebrate my 38th birthday. This was not just another birthday year, but a special weekend away and the first birthday I would share with Bonny. Not aware of our final destination, the drive took us thru a winter... More

I was very warmed by the charm and fireplace in the bedroom. The staff was especially helpful and cheerful and I felt very welcomed. We had several members in our party and all transactions were dealt with very smoothly. The breakfast table/s, however, did not accommodate all the guests in the Inn unless they staggered their breakfast times.

Now that we've stayed twice, we have a better idea of which rooms we prefer to stay in. The room we stayed in this last time had a smaller tub, no fridge... More

I was given my first night as a birthday gift from a friend. I was pleased that the room exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the fine dining and entertainment that was a short distance from the Inn. I had planned to check out and move into a chain hotel in worcester so I could be nearer to some business that... More

This was a wonderful second stay at the the Sturbridge Country Inn. We really love everything about the Inn, including the fire place, hot tub, and the sitting area nook. August 13, 2005 This was our first stay at the Sturbridge Country Inn. The suite was clean and comfortable. It was very relaxing to have the fireplace and hot tub right in the room. The staff was very helpful about the area interests and restaurants. Looking forward to our next visit. Judy, Stafford Springs, CT
