Wonderful location. Henry Ford bought up acres of ground to conserve and protect the area (and he added rooms on to the buiding). Is now an Inn on the historic Boston Post Road. There are barns, school house, beautiful church, grist mill and it is rumoured that there is a slave burial ground on the nearby hill. The Inn has...

An overnight stay at the Wayside Inn has been on my bucket list for a number of years. I grew up with relatives in Framingham and we often went to the Wayside Inn to dine, but never had a reason or opportunity to stay overnight. My husband and I were looking for a little winter get away, so we finally...

Stayed in one of the historic rooms. For the price, the accommodations were not up to par. Bathroom wasn't adequate for a "bigger guy" and the furniture wasn't in keeping with the image they were trying to portray. Trying not to complain, but your money will get you a lot more elsewhere. Can't argue with the history though...it's the "real...

When you walk in the front door it as if you feel through a time warp. We arrived on a very cold Feb day. We walked in and they had a fire in the pub and everyone was very friendly. Our room, (room 9 is haunted). was beautiful. The food was perfect. Waiters and waitstaff...Super friendly. All the staff are...

This was an awesome hidden gem. We were driving down rt 20 and took an unexpected detour here. There are 2 museum bedrooms and a living room you can see from the 1700's. Lots of ambiance in the bar. Very cool spot.

We had a group of 19 for an 80th birthday party. We agreed to offer our guests a menu of 4 options (roast turkey, Yankee pot roast, Baked sole, Spinach mushroom ravioli). All of the entrees were well presented, plentiful and delicious. The hostess greeted us in period dress. The low ceilings with exposed beams, subdued lighting and antiques all...

Special Holiday dinner. Enjoyed a lovely dinner with the Inn decorated for the Holidays and the fireplaces roaring - it was perfect. Our waitress was very good. We enjoyed the Innkeeper's salad and New England Scallops.

Popped in here after seeing it on our tourist map. Restaurant was full, so we were shown the old bar, with its log fire and cosy atmosphere. We had scallops wrapped in bacon, and glasses of warm non alcoholic cider. Both were delicious. Would love to come back to stay here.

The Wayside Inn has a wonderful luncheon menu. Our party of 10 was seated right at the reserved time. The wait staff was prompt and the meals were well presented. Our only objection was they will not do separate checks during the holiday season. Reason given was they are a non-profit organization and cannot expend the monies required for a...
