We loved this B&B. It is decorated with excellent taste, and is very comfortable. It is in a quiet part of Vineyard Haven, about a fifteen-minute walk or ten-minute bike ride from the ferry. We spent a good part of our vacation just hanging out here on the hammocks, reading, or playing ping-pong out in the garden. Breakfast was delicious,... More

This B&B is located on in a quiet residential neighborhood. Our room was clean, small, quiet and comfortable. The AC was self regulated and the room included a ceiling fan. There are multiple common rooms which we didn't take advantage of, but one included a refrigerator so we could refreeze our cooler packs. The amenities included a nutritious and delicious... More

We stayed for seven nights in this B & B in Martha's Vineyard and had a great stay. It's located within walking distance of Vineyard Haven (and the ferries) but is on a surprisingly quiet street. The room (we stayed in Room #7 which has a bedroom and a separate sitting room) was spacious and comfortable. It has a beautiful... More

A wonderful Vineyard Haven Stay, beautiful flowers, graceful comfortable furniture, delicious plentiful breakfast served on a lovely porch looking over a beautiful yard and garden. The breakfast was awesome, the service perfect. Juliana was honest, direct and shared a wealth of knowledge of the vineyard. She has a New York edge which was refreshing and fun. The Doctor's House location... More

This is our second stay at The Doctor's House, Martha's Vineyard. It is a large, rambling, B&B set amongst beautiful lawns and gardens. The best aspect for us is that our six year old Rhodesian Ridgeback is welcome and we feel perfectly relaxed. The heat was intense across the NE over the July long weekend, but we stayed cool under... More

The Doctor's House has a warm and homey feel, and the innkeeper was very hospitable. The grounds are magnificent, punctuated by a wonderfully characteristic tree in which wild turkeys roost every evening. We stayed in the suite, a charming well-appointed room with views of both the grounds and the front of the house. Located approximately a 15 minute walk to... More

My husband and I have been to the Doctors House each year in the spring and/or in the fall. These past two times we have brought friends with us. Jilana and Alan (our wonderful hosts) make us feel right at home. The house is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. It's also in a great location so we can walk... More

We spent five peaceful days and nights at the Doctor's House over the winter vacation. The house is charming and lovingly attended to, down to every detail in the guest rooms and common spaces. Our girls loved the wild turkeys parading around the enormous grounds and we all enjoyed evenings warming our feet by the living room fireplace: reading, doing... More

I arrived late in the afernoon, on a hot hot day. I rang the bell as instructed by a cute little note and was greeted by a very nice women. I later found out she was the owner. The house is huge, bright, airey, sunny and has a wonderful energy about it. I felt like I walked into my own... More

The Doctors House is a beautiful bed and breakfast in a great location. The yard is immaculate. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Why the 3 stars? The owner and overall atmosphere of the inn are anything but welcoming. We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the years including several on the Vineyard and the owner Jilana is not...
