My husband and I stayed here for a getaway in June. The Innkeepers, Lynn and Karl, are amazing!! Their knowledge of Martha's Vineyard is second to none. They provide you with an insider's guide to driving through Martha's Vineyard, and show you the tucked away places one might otherwise miss. Truly a wonderful couple and incredible hosts! We selected this...

My husband and I stayed at the Thorncroft Inn for our 1st wedding anniversary. We have stayed at luxury hotels and inns all over the world, and the level of service we experienced at the Thorncroft Inn is unmatched. Lynn and Karl know how to cater to couples from our incredible breakfasts every morning (that was basically private dining), to...

Just spent five nights at the Thorncroft Inn and I was incredibly impressed. This place provides a wonderful getaway in a peaceful and quiet setting away from the masses that one sometimes sees in the Vineyard. Rooms wee generously sizes and immaculate. The 1+ acre grounds were perfectly maintained and offer a relaxing place for an evening stroll. Of course...

My wife and I enjoy b & b. This has to be the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Karl is such a warm and knowledgeable man we couldn't wait to ask him more questions. We have stayed other places on the island but for sure we will come back to the thorncraft inn. Karl has a staff worker...

I took my wife here this Memorial Day Weekend for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. I was looking for a quiet romantic place, and luckily for us we hit the jackpot with The Thorncroft! I knew I had made the right decision right from the start when Karl Buder greeted us at the door and spent a couple of minutes with...

The cottage suite was comfortable, immaculate, and attractive. The hosts were wonderfully helpful locating attractions to see and routes to get there. The chef does a great job with breakfast having a planned entree or a la carte choices. The grounds are well kept with seating in the lawn and budding rhododendrons and other flowering bushes and trees. And of...

We had a super stay at Thorncroft and just an example of the level of service they provide was on our departure we were too early for breakfast but the owner provided all of us with bagged breakfasts which we greatly appreciated on the ferry. Thorncroft is an oasis to be experienced.

The Thorncroft Inn is conveniently located just outside of the village of Vineyard Haven. An easy walk into town. The Inn is spotless which shows the love and dedication that the owners put into it. Karl and Lynn were very nice and helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

We had the room that had an outside entrance, making us feel secluded, but also requiring that we walk outside to access the inner inn. Everything has its price. The inside of the inn was especially nice and inn like. The hosts were very accommodating and knew alot to share about the island, especially for first timers like ourselves.
