The fact that you can walk to the hotel from the ferry did it for me. But besides that, the hotel is very nice. My suggestions: use the gym and take the elevator to the rooftop to see great views of the surrounding area.
Very pleasant, light airy room with comfy bed and pillows, clean, tidy and nicely kept. Gym club, pool and sauna, with free lessons for guests a big plus for my wife. Competent instructors and good equipment.
Breakfast offering - although very complete - coffee, juices,...More

We brought our rental car across which I think you need to do to get around all of the island, The Steamship Authority runs the ferry’s and you can book the ferry via their website. You would need to book as it can be busy even in winter when we were there and they are fairly frequent around every hour. The ferry leaves from Woods Hole throughout the year.
