Our hotel has always had a pet fee, this is not a new policy. Our rate did go up and was on the website when you booked your reservation. We refused to remove the pet fee, as it would not be fare to all the other guests who paid our pet fee. As our hotel is newly renovated and no longer accepting pets, yes, we have taken all mention of pet friendliness off of our site. If there was any question of our policy, we would have been happy to answer any questions prior to arrival. Attacking us on Facebook, TripAdvisor, and on our Marriott site for a policy that has been in place for years, is not fair or called for. You were asked to sign the pet policy at the time of arrival, as the area was not sold out and there are other pet friendly hotels in the area, we would have obliged if you chose not to stay due to the policy. We apologize for your disappointment, but as mentioned on several emails we consider the matter closed. We have never treated you poorly, we simply did not agree to refund a fee that is required of all pet owning guests.

Went to Residence inn over Friday and Saturday and new that it was under construction. At some point hotels have to realize that having rooms open under construction is not a good business decision. Workers were roaming the halls and it was a mess...the corridors had new

Dear valued guest, Thank you for choosing our hotel for your most recent stay. We understand that you were disappointed that our hotel was under a full renovation. As we work to improve our guest experience, we are remodeling the hotel and it does present some challenges. The notice of our renovation is fully disclosed at the time of booking. We have had a notice up since September and also include the notice in all reservation confirmation emails, including the reminder emails. We have also been posting renovation updates on our social media pages as well. As there is full disclosure, our rates have been set accordingly and we do not offer additional discounts to those that choose to book the hotel during the renovation. That being said, we do apologize for any cleanliness issues that you experienced in your room during your stay. It is always our intention to provide a clean and comfortable room for our guests.We have shared your comments with our housekeeping team to make sure that this was an isolated incident. There is never any excuse for leaving behind any items from a previous guest nor to only make up one of your beds during stay over service. It is my understanding that we addressed this during your stay as well. The hotel has also begun to resurface the tubs in the rooms this week, this will remedy the appearance of the tub being discolored or stained. There are some finishing touches in the new rooms that were being done after the initial room renovation. This place rocked. We have traveled all across the country and stayed at various IHG hotels, but this one was one of the best. If you're near Keene, NH, or looking for a spot in Brattleboro, you have to stay here. The staff was so accommodating and the rooms were always clean
