Detailed Reviews
We are a family of three- Myself, my husband and our 5 month old. We were looking for a local winter getaway during February school vacation. We live just north of Boston and were ready to try a quick vaca with our baby. Our biggest goals during this trip were a change of scenery, covid safe, and spend some family time together. The Cove certainly delivered! We stayed in one of the townhouse style rooms. We didn't realize it was on two floors but we were able to make it work easily for our family of 3. The rooms were really spacious and we had a large living/ eating area along with a bathroom on the first floor and a bedroom/bathroom upstairs. The kitcehnette was fully stocked with silverware, dishes, etc. Having the mini fridge and sink was key with a little one as we both ate out and in the room. The pool was a definite highlight of our trip. It was easily accessible from inside (no need to trek through the outdoors in February) and really open and well lit unlike some hotel pools. Regarding Covid I would have liked to see a little less people allowed at one time at the pool but people were generally respectful and kept distance. The towels available for the pool were good size and fluffy a rarity at hotels I feel. Even my 5 month old loved to snuggle up after her swim! We are already talking about returning to the Cove this summer so we can enjoy the outdoor amenities as well!

We just spent 2 nights over New Years Eve at The Cove and were really happy with our stay. All public spaces are large, clean and well kept especially the indoor pool area. The overall size of the indoor pool area was a welcomed change from most others. We were a good size group spread out over multiple rooms. We had 7 adults and 13 kids with ages ranging from 4-16. All of the kids had a blast in the pool. I typically find that most indoor pool spaces are hot and stink of chlorine,
this was not the case at all here. The indoor pool is a great place to spend a couple of cold winter days.Â
The staff that we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone one including staff and other guests were following the mask wearing protocols.Â
The quality of the food was very good in the onsite restaurant, The Loft. The manager (at least I think he was the manager) of the Loft restaurant was super welcoming and went out of his way to be polite and chat with us as we checked in to pick up our to-go meals. Our food was not ready, so he allowed us to sit near the bar and have a drink while we waited. There are plenty of dining options and pharmacy type stores very close by if you need to run out for anything. All in all it was a great time and we absolutely plan to go back, maybe next month!

Upon arrival our initial impression was great! A friendly/professional staff member directed us to where we needed to go and informed us about the new protocols that pertained to the pandemic, which he too complied to (mask, 6 ft distance, etc.) However, when we asked another staff member for a new trash bag because ours was full, he asked us our room number to get us one and never returned with it. We noticed that the room wasn't as clean as our last two stays in the past. This didn't sit well, especially considering the extra cleaning measures that were really necessary during this time. There was a ring on the side table, dust on the coffee table, and something smeared on the carpet. Also, there was a pill under the bureau. The pool was very nice and warm which we were very pleased with, and we liked how they kept track of who went in and out to deter non-guests. However, as much as well liked the idea of ordering food with the restaurant so close to the pool, we couldn't help but notice the bartender was not wearing a mask for a good portion of a day...only when supplies were being brought did he put on a mask, but continued to talk to guests without one which didn't make us feel safe ordering from him. Even though the premiss was something to be admired overall, we were not impressed especially given the price tag for a stay.

When we first checked into the resort we were given a welcome gift which you can see attached. Being an interesting box we waited and opened it up when we arrived to our room. To our dismay this colorful box contained four generic cheese crackers wrapped nicely in tissue paper. I'm not going to say how cheesy this gift was.
Check in time was 4 pm, we arrive at 3 pm and were met with a very gracious lady who checked us in and answered all our questions. Our room was very nice and found it to be very clean especially with the concern of the pandemic. We were at the far end of the resort where the elevator wasn't available so we brought our luggage up the stairs. Townhouse units are on the second floor whereas the suites are all on the first. Next time staying here we would probably choose a suite.
We would have liked to eat at the Loft Restaurant in main building, but was not open due to Pandemic. The air conditioning unit in room was very loud. This resort is close to beaches and great restaurants. Our travel to P Town was only about 50 minutes. We were very pleased and comfortable here and plan to return in the future. We would highly recommend the massage therapist who works at the Cove, she gave an amazing massage, very professional and well-worth it!!

We stayed at The Cove at Yarmouth as an RCI exchange in July, 2021. Our 1 bedroom unit faced the rear of the resort and had somewhat of a water view (tidal marsh). DO NOT accept one of the units overlooking the indoor pool. The area is covered, and you will get NO outside air, along with lots of noise! The kitchenette had a toaster, microwave, small fridge, and a single cup Keurig coffee maker. It was adequate for our stay. Unit is well laid out, Bedroom is upstairs. 2 bathrooms is really handy. Beware the walls are thin, and you will hear your neighbor's kids and TV! A/C worked well. The only complaint is that the resort does not enforce their no smoking regulation. The studio units (ground floor units) have a patio that is underneath the one bedroom units. We had someone smoking below us, and the smoke came into our sliders every morning and evening when they smoked several cigarettes. Notified front desk, but doesn't appear anything was done. Aside from that, resort location is perfect for exploring the Cape, close to ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and there are tons of nearby restaurants, including 2 at the resort. We had a great time and will certainly consider an exchange into here in the future.

Had points to use or lose so we chose close to home. We arrived on a Sunday and left on Wednesday. During that time restaurants were closed open only on Wed- Sun. no view but room was clean. Bed was suppose to be a queen but sure felt like a double. Check in and check out fast. I resented being charged a $50 fee for cleaning because we were there less than a week in addition we’re charged to stay there in addition to our points. We are an owner-so pretty disillusioned with timeshare ownership.

The Cove is a beautiful resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However there were issues with housekeeping. The mattress cover was falling apart and should have been thrown away when it came out of the wash. There were ants all over the bedroom floor. The 2 bathrooms had now extra toilet paper and there was only one towel per guest.

We stayed here through RCI exchange and so glad we did! The location is in the middle of everything, clean room, and the staff are very friendly. We stayed on the first floor, suite, and it turned out convenient because we didn’t have to climb any stairs. But only the 2nd floor rooms have cove view. The 1 bedroom with kitchenette is spacious. Bring your own keurig cup for coffee, otherwise pay $1/each. There is a microwave and a small fridge. There is place setting. There is bar/food by the pool. This place is very family friendly with little kids. Most people wear a mask and obide social distancing rules.
We would definitely come back again!!

I think if we had visited when there were no covid restrictions our visit wold have been better. On the Sunday the resort was open including the restaurant (outdoors only) when Monday and Tuesday rolled in restaurant was closed and there were no cooking facilities in our room. not even a microwave to heat up leftovers from the previous night. The monday morning receptionist gave us miss information which impacted our day off property as well as about the on property restaurant.
I do believe if this was normal times the whole resort would be open and there would be so much more to do.

If you are not disabled, you will be fine with this resort. But we were told the unit we requested was handicap accessible for a wheelchair. It was not. The worst was that the resort does NOT have accessible (handicap) parking unless you are in one of their handicap units. The parking spaces are marked with the unit number of the handicap rooms which is illegal and not ADA compliant. And unfortunately, many rooms were used by those who were not handicap and therefore, did not have a handicap license or placard for their vehicle. And we were still told we could not use the empty parking spot or would have gotten fined by the resort.

I was in a one bedroom suite in the main building, ground floor and did not see one. Though I did not look for one either.
Not that we recall - we did not need one during our week.
