I stayed here with my family and it was a nice place to stay with family. First, you must stay in the updated rooms in the back. Everything looks very clean and well-kept. We ate at Helen's diner, the staff was really helpful and nice. The food was breakfast food like anywhere you would go, except cheaper. There was a...

I chose the Tidewater Inn based on a reasonable price, and the fact that there was no minimum stay on a weekend. My party was 3 adults and 1 child. I booked a room with two double beds. The room was standard motel fare. There was a fridge which I wasn't sure it would have, along with coffee maker which...

Yes, the hotel is older, but our room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful with tourist information. In fact, our room appeared to have been painted recently and the carpet also looked fairly new. Unlike another poster here, we did not consider the location to be in a "shabby part of town." Instead, we felt that...

We appreciate your taking the time to write a review and give us the opportunity to correct any problems. Flat screen TVs are on our wish list and we hope to replace them in the near future. Even though the Tidewater is an older property we offer an authentic "Cape Cod experience" at a reasonable price. Hope to see you...

We stayed here for a week in September. I had no any problems at all. The people at the front desk are nice and very helpful. The hotel by itself is old but very well maintained. The price is very reasonable. Thanks to Cleaning Lady of room 137- you always did a very good job. The only thing I don't...

ok, well the hotel has some nice views if you get a room "water side" the size of room was ample and great for just me and my grandson for a couple of nights. its dated, tv is small, you do get used to it but they need to upgrade to flat screens and get larger TV's.Room could use a...

5 mins away from Kalmus Beach & downtown Hyannis. Grounds are well kept. 2 beautiful pools. Motel is dated but very well maintained. Wasn't really crazy about Helen's Diner. Try Keltic Kitchen right down the road. We enjoyed our stay & will definately be back.

My wife and my 3 kids were looking for a get-a-way east this year and thought of the cape. Normally we go to S or N Carolina to vacation but this year wanted to give Cape Cod a shot. We couldnt find a reasonably priced rental so we opted for a hotel. Not familiar with the area we received a...

This gentleman arrived at the hotel and, as I checked him in, he told me that it was his first time visiting Cape Cod since he usually vacationed south. I gave him information on the Cape so that he could get a general idea of the area. The booking was for one of our economy rooms which is more dated...

My title has nothing to do with the holiday more Cape Cod itself. As a foreigner I was expecting the Hamptons, its actually more Coney Island. The Inn is not bad although very pricey for what it is, saying that I staying in peak season so I paid. No fault to the Tidewater. The room was perfectly good, air con...

Thank you for your review and advice. We did try to contact you but could find no phone number. It is one of the problems we have with international visitors, especially if they book online. It is always wise to give hotels a cell phone number so that we can quickly return lost items. Hope you enjoyed your visit to...

We were there during the peak season, paid peak season prices, and were sorely disappointed. This motel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms smelled moldy, the bathrooms were ancient and I tried to avoid looking at the carpet. The indoor pool water was cold and murky and the hot tub was absolutely filthy with all kinds of debris...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The Tidewater is an older property, but we do take very good care of the property and make sure all the rooms are spotless and comfortable for our guests.
