Choose the Williams Inn for your romantic adventure in the Berkshires and you won't be story. Very close to Mount Graylock, the tallest peak in Massachusetts. Lovely hotel property with great curbside appeal. Comfortable, warm, large working fireplace in the tavern. Large, well fitted rooms and the softest freshest towels ever. Loved the bar and atmosphere and the dining was...

We really appreciate the comprehensive review of the Inn and the local attractions. We're glad you are taking the time to see everything that the Northern Berkshires have to offer- it is definitely enough to warrant multiple visits, during different times of the year. Come back soon!

We always wanted to stay here when we visited Williams when our daughter played against Williams. Very disappointed. Smells like grandma's house. Very outdated. Didn't like the beds. Not worth the price. Should have tried a b& b. Breakfast okay.

We wanted to spend sometime in the Berkshires and experience an Octoberfest. The Williams Inn provided both. A quaint and cozy Inn with very comfortable beds that serves breakfast in a beautiful location. The Octoberfest offered great German food and an amazing performance from an Austrian Group named " Stratton Mountain Boys". If your looking for a great Octoberfest, than...

This is a large old hotel in a college town. The rooms are clean, comfy but rather tired, the elevator is slow and small, floral wallpaper, thin walls, plumbing noises. We had room 314 which is at the front and overlooks the road and park opposite. We were not bothered by any road noise at night. The beds were comfortable...

Two days in October - room big and pleasant. Very well situated for walking into the small college town area. Restaurant was really nice for meals in the evening with a nice selection of beers. Our room viewed the back (looking over the car park) which didn't bother us as its quieter although the road it fronts on isn't that...

It was raining and 35 degrees when we arrived at The Williams Inn. Despite being a large hotel, the cozy atmosphere and quaint, colonial decor were very welcoming. The place is dated, but that's what we loved about it. Our room had old-fashioned floral wallpaper and crisp white, vintage matelasse coverlets. We loved the old-world style. On our road trips...

Good location in a beautiful small college town. This is not a 'boutique' hotel rather one that is gracious, historic though slightly worn - comfortable beds, clean, large common area downstairs to sit, attractive tavern-type restaurent with wide selections and OK food. Outstanding feature of hotel is the staff - welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful. Williamstown is great to walk...

We had a great stay. Room seemed recently renovated, very large. Amazing king size bed. Bathroom was also very big, with a separate space for tub, shower and toilet. Sink was outside together with closet, which I think is great. They don`t have minibar or safe inside the room, both missed by us! Room was a little too far from...

Thank you Patricia! Your Superior King room was in the newest wing of the hotel. We hope that its larger size and upgraded furnishings and finishes were worth the walk. I'm sorry they were wrapping up breakfast by the time you were able to get there. Hopefully if you visit again you can experience it in its entirety. Please come...

Friendly reception staff and a spacious and comfortable room. We ate in the hotel's restaurant and both opted for pasta. Very tasty dish but the portion size was enormous! We barely made inroads into our meals before having to concede defeat. What a waste. Disappointed next morning to find nothing suitable at breakfast for my diabetic husband to eat.

Hi Celia, I'm glad you found your room to be comfortable. I appreciate your comments on both the size of the pasta and the diabetic-friendly breakfast offerings. I will review with the chef to see if we can make any adjustments. We hope you find a reason to visit Williamstown again in the near future.

There is a lot to like about the Williams Inn. The staff are helpful and friendly, food in the restaurant is good and the free breakfast had strawberry bread and butter pudding with white sauce - devine! But.....the hotel is starting to show signs of age. Room decor is dated, lining of lift peeling off in places and just a...

Dear Peter, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. There's nothing more important than a good night's sleep in a clean room, tasty food, and a friendly staff. We have been making continuous upgrades in the past two years, most recently to replace the carpeting and bedding. We will continue to work toward ensuring a comfortable experience...
