5 star service-the owner was very nice, helpful and welcoming. Nice location at the beginning or end of Route 2 aka the Mohawk Trail. Very clean + comfortable room, 2 queen beds, extra pillows, WIFI, nice TV, iron + ironing board, shower with extras. Coffee maker in the room for that 1st cup of coffee to get started. Lots of...

Love Williamstown and we visit every couple of years. This was a short overnight bday trip for hubby and me. Saw other reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. So many of these types of motels are decorated by 1980s Frilly Tilly -ugh. This was not the case here. Our room was a simple one...

Fantastic motel that is extremely hiker friendly. Very reasonable rates. Exceptionally clean, small room with all the amenities required, which was most welcome for us after a through-hike of the Long Trail. Courteous staff who were always willing to help. Very helpful to hikers only is the offer of low cost laundry service. Motel is conveniently located near town stores...

A very clean and nice little room. Very affordable. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly to us after our completion of hiking the Vt. Long Trail. They offered us rides to the trailhead the next day (though we had finished), to the Greyhound bus stop, and to a local food mart. They did our laundry (for hikers only) for...

We were pleasantly surprised by this little find in the Berkshires. It is privately owned by a friendly couple that obviously cares about how clean the rooms are and how nicely decorated they are. It is not a modern place by any means but it is clean and has everything you need. Wi-Fi, television, comfortable bed, spotless sheets and towels,...

This is your basic motel, with some nice but inexpensive decorating to class the place up. Better-than-average continental breakfast with Dunkin Donuts, fresh fruit and yogurt. But what really stands out and makes it 5 stars is the over-the-top amazing hospitality of the owner. If there were an award for gosh-darn nicest motel operator, he would win it. Very helpful,...

It's difficult to rate a place like this. By any objective measure, it's probably only a 2- or 3-star property. Nothing really special about it in terms of the accmmodations. As others have said, it's your basic old-school motel. But, the overall experience was very enjoyable. The manager is very friendly and helpful, we were comfortable in our clean room,...

We took other trip advisors advice, when looking for a place to stay for one night after hiking Mt Greylock. The Williamstown Motel is conveniently located, clean, neat, had perfect continental breakfast offerings and comfortable beds. The motel is dated (think 70's), but it does the job and the price is right. Wonderfully friendly and helpful owner!
