I don't know why there are so many complaints, I travel a lot and my stay was perfectly fine. The hotel is nicely laid out and updated, the room and bed were comfy, fitness center is solid and the restaurant was good.

The only complaint I have is not being told that as an Honors member I was entitled to a Food and Beverage credit, I had two meals during my stay and that's just bad customer service. I was told I wouldn't get points because I didn't book on the Hilton website but no mention of the available credit.

I generally think this is poor customer relations, everyone uses 3rd party websites to get the best deal, Marriott and others still let you accrue points. But I should have been told at checkin that I could use my Food and Beverage credit.

Davidt4162, We are happy to see that you enjoyed the layout of the hotel and the beds (they are really comfy). We designed each part of the property to help guest dive into another world when with us. We understand the frustration of not having all the amenities and perks mentioned to you and for that we are sorry and will work with our teams. We hope to welcome you back in the future!

Everytime I travel to MA for business I stay at this hotel. The location is very good, and they have free parking lot with a garage (which is great when its raining or snowing). I sent some boxes from Amazon and they didnt charge anything for that. The breakfast is good, and also the dinner at matadora restaurant. The rooms are very large, and showers were replaced by new ones with glass (no bathtubs).

Love this Hilton! Over the years of traveling I have stayed at many hotels and I was very impressed with this Hilton! The service was impeccable! The staff was very accommodating. I enjoyed a late night glass of wine at the hotel restaurant, I was offered a taste before buying and was poured a descent size glass, excellent red wine 🍷 with a reasonable price. This Hilton offered a FULL breakfast with eggs, fresh fruit and pancakes 🥞. Excellent waitstaff and front desk customer service from check in to check out. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay in the future.

RUN to the nearest Marriott, do not stay here! Customer Service is non-existent at this location, this seems to be the new Hilton norm. The lack of concern on the staff's part continued and worsened. As a paying customer and Diamond member, I am simply appalled at the horrific attitudes and total disrespect that I experienced. (1) All four of our beds had dirty duvets, at check-in. There was makeup, food and other stains on the dingy white duvets. I requested to have them changed immediately, we took them off the beds because no one came. The next day, I asked again while asking to speak to the manager; still no clean duvets and no response from management. Since it was Christmas day, I understood not having management on site. Day 3, again the duvets have not been changed. All the while, I have been corresponding with the front desk via the app and in person. Finally on day 4, I was told that they would bring clean duvets for me to change my own bed. I was appalled! In response to my reluctance to change my own dirty bed linens, I was told that it would be considered my one cleaning service for my 7 day stay. Finally housekeeping comes but only changes the sheets and places the same dirty duvets back on the bed. I send them another message. Housekeeping returns and changes the sheets again and places the same dirty duvets back on the bed. I enter the room when she is changing the last bed sheets and inquire about the dirty duvets. Housekeeping responds and says that she was only told to change the sheets. The housekeeping supervisor comes and instructs them to change everything on the bed (day 4). (2) At breakfast on Christmas day, we were told that we (along with the other guests) should have come down earlier to eat and not waited to the last minute because now there are too many people dining. (3) My son accidentally ordered his eggs sunny side up. The grill guy removed the eggs from the table, placed them back on the grill, chopped them up and served them back. Needless to say, that we didn't eat at the Matadora hotel restaurant again. (4) My son asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste, simply because you forget to pack some items. He was asked for his room # and ID. This seems extreme for a measly travel toothbrush and toothpaste. (5) After 3 requests over 3 days to speak to management, I was never contacted.

A few years ago, I would never have imagined that I would stay in Woburn as part of an annual trip to Fenway Park. However due to the huge jump in cost for hotels in the Boston core and the closer neighborhoods, Woburn has become a viable option for those seeking a home base for Fenway Park. For starters, I would not recommend getting the Orange Line into Boston... there are way too many stops! And getting from the hotel to Oak Grove (Orange Line station) is an approximately 15 minutes’ drive southeast. If you are willing to drive that distance, jump on Interstate 93 and head south into Boston. For those timid about driving in downtown Boston: drive to the North Station/North End Parking Garages and jump on the Green Line at North Station. Parking in this area does not have the “event” cost bump as found with parking closer to Fenway but if work out the cost is $25-30 plus 2 taxi fares of $20 each (or worst, the time and aggravation of the T), you might as well drive closer to Fenway and pay the $50-60 for parking and save the headache of the aging MBTA. Now for the hotel itself: I found the hotel to be great. While there are some signs of wear and age, overall the hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff (and several signs) state that room cleaning is not done during short stays but available upon request. The room climate control was not entirely satisfactory but expected in larger hotels. There was plenty of water pressure and hot water. I really liked the LogiSon Sound Masking option for the room. In the absences of a fan or air-conditioning sound that I tend to need in a hotel, this background sound provided comfort for me. It masked over any sound that I was expecting from the large interior balcony layout. The beds were comfortable and clean though the pillows were a little worn. Towels were clean and bright. The hotel lobby and onsite restaurant is good and inviting though it was a little costly but given no alternatives in walking distance, it was fine. As far as what was missing with the Hilton Woburn… the pool closes too early and there is no NESN on the room TVs (as mentioned in previous reviews). We weren’t the only baseball fans lodged in Woburn. Given the rising cost of accommodations in Boston, I think I will see more of Woburn in the coming years.

This is a very busy property. It was booked to capacity during my eleven day stay.

My first room had an unpleasant odor so I immediately requested a room change. I was given the only other option available on a floor shared with the banquet hall and kitchen. In spite of some loud events and a smell that was noticeable when walking past the kitchen area, this room was a bit better than the original. It was still dark, depressing, and suffering from some cleaning misses. Hangers in the closet were broken. It had drapes, carpet, and a shower curtain, which are not great for a hotel with spotty cleaning practices.

I could never get hot water for my shower in the morning and the tub filled due to a drainage issue. Maintenance fixed the drain issue once, but it returned after just one day, and I didn’t try again. They apologized about the hot water issue, but the only solution available was to shower outside of peak times.

Housekeeping only came once during my eleven days. Meanwhile, European hotels are back to offering daily housekeeping and providing healthier, cleaner environments for guests. I had to ask the front desk for fresh towels a couple of times and found it necessary to inspect them for cleanliness and hair embedded in the weave. It’s time to offer daily housekeeping in the US for travelers. We need the jobs back and it makes a difference. You can’t expect a reduced staff to turn over rooms in a busy hotel when regular cleaning hasn’t been performed without expecting misses.

There is nothing of interest within walking distance, but parking is ample. The restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet had great service, but hot choices on the buffet were limited, and not very well prepared.

I’ve already booked a different hotel for my next trip to the area. I’ll try this one again only if they remodel or I have to attend a conference onsite.

Dear, NRGLEXICON, Thank You for sending me feedback from your recent stay here at the Hilton Woburn Hotel. I was disappointed to read that your stay was just average at best. I was pleased to hear that you were able to take advantage of our ample parking and enjoyed our restaurant and breakfast service. I appreciate the feedback regarding our hot food options. We can do a better job for our guest that stay with us for an extended period of time and will work with the team for better options moving forward. However, I was disappointed to hear that your guest room experience was less than perfect. Having to move your room twice is not acceptable and I am truly sorry and will get additional information from the team so I may ensure this does not happen again. Please feel free to reach out to me. My contact information is below. NRGLEXICON I would like to thank you again for staying with us. I look forward to commenting with you soon and make thing right and allow us to host you again in the future for a more positive experience. William Young General Manager bill.young@aimhosp.com

I must start by saying this hotel is tremendous for its value. The staff is friendly, the rooms were clean and the hotel, overall, was well maintained. The interior of the hotel is nicely designed and the balconies overlooking the heated pool offer a nice retreat on those cold Boston days. Special shout out to Courtney, from sales, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The hotel is also conveniently located about 15 minutes outside of Downtown Boston so it's close enough to explore and then return for evening turn down.

Heads up, as of our stay, the on site restaurant (which is FABULOUS!!) is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so, if you're staying for those 2 days you'll have to look elsewhere for lunch and dinner. Also, room service isn't happening now and housekeeping only comes to clean the room on the 4th night of your stay. Darn Covid! The fitness center has all you need and the free indoor and outdoor parking is a great touch. If we're in Boston again, this is without a doubt where we would stay. Thanks again Hilton Woburn!

Bathroom was in terrible condition. Peeling paint and missing tiles. Room should not have been rented to guests.

Front desk was unaware, and made no attempt to make any adjustment (despite a $300+ room char) notwithstanding daily housekeeping, Their only response was “sorry, I will let maintenance know”

Hello 858danieln, It's truly regrettable to read about your less than stellar experience. Guest satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and your feedback helps significantly in understanding where we fell short. Addressing the issue of the bathroom, it is indeed unacceptable that you encountered such unfavorable conditions characterized by peeling paint and missing tiles. We promise our valued guests a comfortable and pleasurably aesthetic environment, and it is clear that we did not meet this expectation in this particular instance. We offer heartfelt apologies. We further understand from your review that the response from the front desk did not uphold the level of service expected in resolving the matter. The team is trained to handle a range of possible issues that might occur and ensure satisfactory solutions to guests. It appears there is a need for additional efforts at better communication and swifter issue resolution from our end. The remark "sorry, I will let maintenance know," while a step in the right direction, does not fully encapsulate the actions needed from our team to rectify the situation and make up for the discomfort caused. It is also noted that despite the daily housekeeping, these issues weren't addressed during your stay. Regular housekeeping service should ideally anticipate any maintenance issues and act as a checkpoint to make sure rooms are up to standard. We will be revising our procedures to address this gap in our service. It's upsetting to learn that you felt the room was not worth the charge levied. It is only fair that the cost outlined for the room matches the quality and service received. As such, your experience has prompted us to introspect in this area, and we commit to ensuring there's value for the rates provided. It is through candid feedback like yours that we can continue to improve our services and rectify any shortcomings. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention and do hope we have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
