The Franklin is a solidly built property with an attached restaurant (good, not great) and conference center. The rooms are clean, but look and feel like the 70's, right down to the key that is a key. It's a good value for those that don't need brand new.

We stayed at the Franklin Inn while attending a wedding in the area. I had stayed here many years earlier while working on a contract at a business in nearby Elkton so I was familiar with the location. My previous visit had found the hotel clean and comfortable. This trip was no different. Also no different was the decor. I...

We stayed at the inn for convenience as we were in a wedding. The price was reasonable. The rooms are very out dated and smelled of stale smoke, it was clean though. I missed having an in room coffee maker, but they did provide free coffee in the main hall, from a dispenser, tasted like instant. Pillows were small, mattress...

After church we decided to go to the Franklin Inn for brunch. I've been in the past and it's always been pretty good. Today was the same, the buffet was good and had good choices for breakfast or lunch along with salad and dessert for a good price. If I had one bad comment it would only be I wish...

The good; was very quiet the first night, possibly the best bed I have ever slept on, large room, convenient dining with pretty good food. The Bad; walls are like cardboard, pack people into a small area of hotel to avoid having rooms scattered all over to clean, shower started backing up, room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Was there...

the room was in great condition, although it had a little of a musty smell. The bathroom and sink was clean. The room overall appearance was clean and organize. The restaurant had served great meals especially the desserts. It had a bar that had excellent service. It is ideally located in the town of Bad Axe, easily accessible to the...

We; as four adults and two children among us; expected a low budget, run-down motel but we were surprised to find a well-kept, clean establishment. The room was super clean, A/C worked great, TV worked and the carpeting was super clean. The shower-surround was awesome with plenty of space to put items. Shower head worked fine! We had the evening...

BBQ chicken pizza was wicked brah! Best restaurant coffee I have ever had. Beautiful Babes work there! Good fish on the buffet as well as a great variety of other things to consume. Will go back again, I wanna try the breakfast buffet!

The Franklin is getting old and tired. I checked in originally for a week as it was very reasonably priced and I didn't need anything special. Well the rooms are nothing special and are in drastic need of a redo. Again .. cheap place to stay so what do you expect. But the deal breaker was that I had no...
