We checked in at 4:00 on Friday and there was no line. We appreciated the staff that drive the golf carts offering to pick up customers with luggage and bring them to and from their vehicle and the hotel, especially in this hot summer heat. As we walked toward the elevators there is a security staff that checked our cooler (no outside alcoholic beverages allowed) and later checked our room key. There seemed to be security staff at multiple locations, especially at various entrances and exits. As we walked to our room, we could tell by the smell and look that everything is clean and new. Our room was spacious with a king bed, two nightstands, desk, lounge chair, etc. There was a small fridge but no microwave. There is a tablet on one nightstand welcoming you to your room with temperature and light controls, music, restaurant info/menus, etc. The bathroom had a separate room for the toilet and a long shelf in the walk-in shower to accommodate both of our soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The bed was not very comfortable, a bit too firm for our liking. We did not hear much noise from other rooms or outside as we were on the top floor and there seemed to be good sound proofing. We ate at Darcy's Sports bet on Friday for appetizers, Nibi on Saturday for dinner, and 24/7 Cafe on Sunday for breakfast. All were very good.

I can understand the the 4 diamond rating. I just wish the governor would have opened the pools like other states have. Will want to stay there when the pool is open. Felt very secured had to show room key before you got onto the elevator. Rooms were very clean the price could be a few buck less as the pool or spa was open

I spent a night in the newer section of the hotel and was impressed by the attention to detail. I am a frequent traveler and am often disappointed by the amenities or lack thereof. First of all the staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean. I especially would like to thank the Firekeepers designers and staff for the following: Real cups (not Styrofoam or paper) for the coffee service, shelf in the shower and hook in the bathroom, comfortable chair and ottoman in the room, pen and paper provided, comfy robes, one lighting panel for the whole room, and most of all for the small lights attached to the bed--some of us like to read in bed. I also appreciated the email from Firekeepers prior to my visit alerting me that the pool would be closed during my stay. That way I was not disappointed. I did not do well in the casino, but will definitely make a return visit.

Last two complimentary rooms were not very clean. Housekeeping even mentioned previous occupants complained of same stench coming from the bathroom sink 😲🤢 I don't think We will be returning until their housekeeping improves dramatically. Added note, casino free drink dispensers are located just outside of the restrooms!!! Both my husband and I became violently ill after obtaining our drinks from these machines. We were ill within 9 hours of consuming water with ice and a splash of lemonade. Both became ill within minutes of each other. This was the only thing We consumed identical in those hours. Beware

Hi Travel692977--We admit to being both surprised and mystified by your post, wondering if you discussed your bathroom sink concerns with our hotel front desk agents. Being a Four Diamond-rated property--and one that takes care of situations you are describing immediately--we hope you contact the front desk to let them know the room number that you are describing. We are sorry to learn about your illness but the complimentary drink lines do not go near the bathrooms. We understand with the large number of flu cases and viruses in Michigan and across the country, it is easy to pick up these germs almost anywhere one goes. No one else has described the same problems as you with the many thousands of guests who have visited us, just in the past two weeks. Thank you for writing and we do hope you will follow up with our hotel staff to alert them to the room you were in. Thank you.

We stayed at the hotel which the rooms were nice and clean. The game floor was not at all as I read or expected. I read up on the cleaning practices before we booked a room. They said what they were going to due to protect the public. If I would have known after losing a loved one from covid I would have never stayed the night and gambled. I was assuming there would be people wipping down machines and maybe even tagging the machine with a sticker stating it was sanitized after it was cleaned. Not in the least. I was so looking forward to going back to play and I will not be doing so in the near future after what I saw. I should say didnt see. Nor did my fiancé. Not only was I there a few hours I looked to see if anyone was sanitizing the machines. I did not see one person sanitize a machine and I saw two people walking with garbage bags and carrying no sanitizer. I saw many machines with dirty cups. I feel poor management at this time when health and safety should be a issue. Hopefully they correct this problem. A temp check will not keep covid off your hands.

We decided to go over to Firekeepers hotel casino for the night because they were open again After the COVID-19 The hotel and casino is now non-smoking. Which we greatly appreciated. The hotel room was very nice And it was quiet as well.. The king size bed was super comfortable. The room had a coffee maker, a nice size walk in shower.we had a view from the eighth floor. We will definitely stay there again it was a great experience.

There Tuesday of this week. Really changed from 1.5 years ago. Not enough restaurants open, and long waits to get into one. The sports bar was not even open, hotdogs for $5 only thing on menu!!! Fire and Ice was disappointing, ribs not fall of the bone and hamburger was dry. Nasty man at front desk. The rooms were also disappointing, the Kureg coffee machine did not work, not just for us, but other people downstairs getting coffee making same comments. The walls are so thin, we had to listen to a couple next door yelling and swearing at each other for over an hour at midnight. Room on other side the toilet was being flushed all night long. Could not sleep. We prefer the nickel keno Game Maker machines, very few. Used to be a lot especially around the poker room. Only ones we could find were in the no smoking section (4) and a few at the sports bar. They had plenty in the past. Catering now to all the new shiney, noise and tall machines. While playing you had to wait a very long time to order a glass of wine. I think they need to hire more staff and maybe make the incentives better. Did not even stay for breakfast because didn’t want to deal with the host at front desk.

Hello, We're sorry to hear your recent stay wasn't up to par with the quality of service we strive for at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. We are currently experiencing a staffing shortage and we do not have enough staff to open all of our restaurants. We are holding numerous job fairs in an attempt to fill the positions needed to open those restaurants. What room did you stay in that had the Keurig Issue? We will address that issue to make sure we get a machine that is working. As far as the noise from a next door room, did you make a noise complaint to the front desk? Security would've gladly issued a noise warning if we were notified of the issue.

Only one restaurant open and it was a burger and pizza place and the people there wanted to sell me one of their club memberships or whatever like I'm gambling there all the time. Instead of just taking my order it would have been nice if another restaurant that was more upscale was open. There was one drink station. It was overcrowded. The concert was great but the concert venue was not so good, The design makes it hard to get in and out, especially out. Very crowded small area to get out and back into the casino. Just a bad design. You're much better off going to a Detroit or Windsor casino then this place. It was a small wanna be casino

Recent trip to Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek.
Once again made the half hour trip to get us out if the house, wife and i bet small but thought we could play slots for a few hours. (Wrong)
Both lost 100 bucks in ten minutes.
Won free games won o cents.really?
Wife won 100 free games and walked away with $13 dollars.cost her $26. bucks before getting free games.
Couldnt even win what we where betting 98% of the time.
If you want to blow $500 in literally minutes this is the place to go.
This place is not shy about giving you absolutely $0 spin after spin after spin.
I seriously hope this online betting puts a damper in their overflowing bank vaults.
Hopefully this steers you away from this dismal, wallet draining, greedy buisness.

We stayed one night in January and had a great time. The room was clean and well stocked with the usual lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soap and a few extras like sewing kit, shower cap and robes for two! We ate three times at the Smoke N' Fire restaurant off the hotel lobby. The meals were all good. The waitress took 10% off the bill for showing our player's cards, and Firekeepers is generous with discounts-we received $20 off each on food and $20 freeplay each after playing one day for about three hours in November. The pool was a little too chilly for us, we would LOVE it if they warmed it up to about 88 degrees. It was nice that they have adults only from 9-11 PM as the kids screaming really echoes and breaks the old eardrums. The hot tub was large and just the right temp for a nice soak and the sauna was perfect too. We can't wait to go back. Go, have a good time, and tip your housekeepers well- they obviously work hard to keep the rooms so clean. Wait staff too, as they were all prompt and friendly.

While they do not have wheelchairs available for use, they do have scooters available to rent at a cost of $27 per day.
