We can't say enough good things about The Applesauce Inn. Innkeeper Jamie is so very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, not to mention a top-notch farm-to-table chef and an expert at creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for guests. The Inn sits on 2-1/2 acres and includes a chicken coop with roosters and hens of various types that supply...

The Applesauce Inn is a very comfortable bed and breakfast to stay in. The atmosphere is cozy, and the hostess Jamie is very friendly and pleasant to be around. She is quite hospitable and great to talk with if you like, or will give you space if that is your preference. Jamie is also a great cook, and you will...

My boyfriend and I were visiting my mother and father and needed a place to get some peace and quiet. My father is not well, and I came up to see him and spent the weekend cooking healthy things for him. It was such a treat to come back to Jamie's Inn each night and have some peaceful time alone,...

Applesauce B&B in Bellaire, Michigan was one of the best experiences my husband and I have had while traveling. It was welcoming and comfortable and Jamie, the hostess, was very knowledgeable about the area. She knew the best kept secrets and we enjoyed our stay immensely. It felt like a home away from home. The little extras she provides made...

Bed and breakfast with the emphasis on super wonderfully superb breakfast. We were welcomed and made to feel welcome. The food is great and the snacks are tasty. The chickens are a pleasant distraction and the artwork is great to look at.

Very nice B&B. Owners are great. Breakfast is delicious. What I have a problem with is that was what is on the website is not given. It shows on website desert and wine pairing not offered. Granted we did bring our own wine. Burt not always dessert. Would have loved homemade dessert.

The Applesauce Inn rates at the very top of our B & B stays in the U.S. & Europe. Jamie attends to every detail and is a phenomenal chef. The location is perfect for trips to Traverse City, Bellaire, & Alden. We will be back!
