We stayed at this hotel for two nights while in town for a wedding. Pros: It is located right off the freeway making it very convenient. The beds appeared to be newer and were quite comfortable. Cons: The front desk staff were not accommodating what so ever. We asked for some coffee cups for the lobby coffee and that was asking too much. None of the staff were wearing face masks, nor did most guests, even though there was a sign on the door requesting it. The pillows are tiny squares and not comfortable. Overall, I think the hotel was a decent price for what you got but the staff needs some work.
I'm not sure how this hotel has 4 stars. Where do I begin? The drive to get there led us through a bad area of town. After pulling in, we questioned whether we wanted to even check-in. We actually did a search to see other hotels availability only to find they were all booked. We had no choice to check-in. The employee was less than friendly, but not exactly rude either. He did not offer any information about check-out, breakfast, or even our room location. When entering our room, we immediately noticed the musty, wet smell and saw the furniture covered in dust. I could have literally wrote CLEAN ME in the dust. There is no fan in the bathroom and the tub is moldy under the mat. YUCK! We could here the people above us walking across the floor very early in the middle of the night. Even with Covid the breakfast room is open but the selection is terrible. No protein. The offerings are waffles, packets of oatmeal, bagels, bread and 2 types of kids cereals. No eggs, breakfast meats, danishes, or donuts. The only positive I can think of is the young lady working the front desk with the braids and leg tattoos was extremely helpful and friendly. She is a star employee and deserves better than this place. …
We stayed for one night while passing through up the coast and were very happy with our stay. Staff was pleasant, room was clean and it seems that things have recently been given a facelift. Breakfast is basically suspended due to the pandemic, but I believe that is pretty universal across hotels right now. We had a good night sleep and staff interactions were pleasant. The sign out front will soon be changed from ‘Days Inn’ to ‘Qualify Inn’
The staff is friendly & caring. While they cannot support the breakfast typically offered due to Covid precautions (thank you for that), you can request breakfast items from the front desk to bring back to your room. We stayed on the first floor, which they switched us to per our request since my mom could not climb stairs. New furniture, new mattresses, new tv and the air conditioner had just been newly installed last week. Tasteful decor, nice frig & microwave. The mattress seemed high and firm, I wasnt sure how that would work for me, but it was VERY comfortable. The place itself is better than its category of 'no frills' and during these tough times: kindness of staff goes a LONG way!
First off, am clerk Mariah bent over backwards. We needed directions to our next destination and the computer wasn't working so she took it upon herself to get directions for us. Explaining our every turn we needed to do. Thank you Mariah for all you did for us. The hotel is located in a quiet area. Our Room 120 with 2 queen beds with very clean, great mattresses. Each had a good mattress cover. Only downers were only one garbage can a bit tight in bathroom. Breakfast offered quite a bit of varieties to choose from.
