We arrived late at night and we were initially disappointed with the little cabin we had booked, but then woke to discover this little piece of paradise. Spent the morning exploring this place with my boy and will return for a proper camping holiday.

A fantastic place to stop for one night or loads more. Cosy well equipped cabins, clean and smart kitchen, toilets and showers. Very understanding and helpful owners. Highly recommended and if you are lucky the beach is close by to see brilliant sunsets.

Due to attending a funeral at Oeo Marae we were only at Opunake Beach Holiday Park for one night. This is a camping site with self-contained cabins with their own bathrooms. Jenny is a great host as we were running late and she was accommodating and even waited up until after 9pm for us to pick-up the key. She welcomed...

Our family of 4 along with 4 other famalies booked 4 nights at opunake mid year and we have got nothing but fantastic feedback. From the initial email correspondence through to the facilities, friendly management and the handy pool/playground this is a great and affordable get away for famalies. Already booking in for next year!

It had a large well equipped kitchen and gas BBQ for guests to use. Facilities for washing and toileting where well looked after and very clean. The campsite also had a kids playground very...

Really enjoyed our stay this year. Always a joy to stay at Opunake. Fantastic beach for young children metres from campsite, a great little shop for all the items we forgot, and a paddling pool and park for kids. What more could you want?

Firstly having booked some time ago for the NZ summer, I was impressed with the great communication I received from my enquiry to deposit & confirmation. Having tents, shelter from the wind is necessary, and so to find such an awesome campground in a naturally sheltered position was a real gem. Although there was wind (seams to be a summer...
