Rob and Becky make guests feel right at home. The fresh baked goods in the morning are delightful. We stayed in room 101 and the screened in porch was very nice and a private way to enjoy the morning sounds of birds and insects outside. The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable, but the serenity of the place...

We stayed at this B&B for the Cheesburger in Caseville festival and had a great time at both. The B&B has a wonderful facility and grounds with a great screened in porch for relaxation at the end of any day. We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get away for awhile.

We recently stated at The Lodge at Oak Pointe and had a wonderful time. Rob and Becky treated us like royalty. The B & B is located on a pond with lots of frogs. The room is beautiful with a beamed ceiling. No TV, but there is one located in the library. We had a screened porch overlooking the pond.The...

We had a delightful 2 night stay at the lodge. We had 2 adults and 2 kids, so the cottage was a perfect location. The kids loved the paddle boat on the pond, and we all enjoyed the breakfast, especially the homemade muffins.

We loved the lodge. Very quiet and just off the main stretch in caseville close to a bunch of beaches and parks. Breakfast every morning was fresh with homemade muffins and fruit. Also the cereal, coffee and juice were great. The lodge was beautiful and one of a kind. Roger the owner was quite hospitable and friendly. We stayed in...

We decided to go to Caseville for its annual Cheeseburger Festival on the spur of the moment. When we found there were no hotels anywhere nearby we nearly cancelled. Luckily, we made one call to The Lodge at Oak Pointe. The rates sounded reasonable so we booked. The Dorfmanns who operate the inn are everything you hope for in a...

We enjoyed a wonderful one night stay with Becky and Robert at the Lodge on our recent Michigan trip. From the moment we entered we were welcomed and made to feel at home. Our room was well appointed, and the property was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed a paddle boat ride around the pond, a bicycle ride and dinner in...

This was our first visit to this B&B. The Lodge is Beautiful, the little cottage we stayed in was so cozy. Our host, Becky and Robert were so friendly, made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed our stay so much we made reservations to stay there again next year. Becky made some awesome breakfast for us. Would highly recommend this B&B!

The Lodge was our third and final stop-over in our tour around the tip of the Thumb. It literally blew or minds from the moment we walked in. Harbor Beach and Port Austin are places you will want to see once, but Caseville and the Lodge at Oak Pointe is the place you will come back to over and over...

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge at Oak Pointe for two days in August 2009. We found the room to be comfortable and spacious. We especially liked the screened in porch overlooking the pond. The Lodge is right off the major thoroughfare between Caseville and Port Austin, yet the Lodge itself is quiet and relaxed. The public rooms...

“All rooms are great here - upstairs and a cabin if you want to be even more alone.”

“Rooms closer to the library have better wifi. Cell service was spotty.”

“Romantics may prefer the cabin, but all others will want to be close to the inviting sitting rooms, enormous library, and screened porches all around. Choosing between one of those and sitting outside under the beautiful shade trees around the pond is the hardest decision you will have make.”
