This small auberge (a gîte according to Quebec’s classification) has 4 nicely decorated bedrooms (all with private bath) and is set in a large garden. The property is right next to the St Lawrence river. There is a good-sized, well-maintained pool which I enjoyed a good deal during my recent stay. Hosts Daniel and Franck were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay. The house and gardens are amazing, my room was beautiful, the food fantastic with excellent hospitality. Beautiful inground pool with loungers and a cabana! The owners go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and at the same time very discreet. 100% satisfied highly recommend.

This B&B is a beautiful restored mansion with an interesting history and our room was splendid! The gardens were very pretty and inviting. The owner was very accommodating to cyclists; when we booked he emphasized that there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby and told us where to purchase items in one of the towns we would pass through. Then for our dinner, he heated our items and we ate in the breakfast dining area. We thought this was very considerate of him. Breakfast was delicious!

The only drawback can also be seen as a plus - this delightful b&b is out of the way. We sure feel it was worth the detour, passing thru several charming towns with magnificent churches. The journey was part of the reward we enjoyed for booking this room. The rest flowed as soon as we arrived & were warmly greeted by Pierre who helped us carry our bags up to our room. The pluses continued when we saw the meticulous design in our hardwood floors, the elegant furnishings & the colourful, spotless en suite. We slept in a comfortable bed in crisp sheets & awoke refreshed. We went down to a charming formal dining room & were greeted with fresh squeezed OJ & coffee. That was just the start of a delightful experience when these were followed with Eggs Florentine. This was delicious & was presented beautifully with fresh fruit, homemade jam & toast from homemade bread. This whole experience came at a reasonable price & we recommend you take the time to duplicate it.
