Chose due to being close to the Henry Ford museum and it was a good 2 night stay. The area seems safe enough and starting to get newer restaurants. The only real negative is parking the lot was tight for trucks and cost an extra 5 a day
Great location to walk to lots of great restaurants. Love the pull out shelves designed to increase surface area. Clean and comfortable! We will definitely come back. It’s a wonderful location to go to the Henry Ford.
Our bathroom and room in general was dirty. It appeared that the bathroom was only very quickly wiped down and much of the grime was missed. The shower had mold/mildew and the shower curtain was stained yellow. We also found used towels in the bath and the staff had only left one clean towel. It took speaking with housekeeping and two trips to the front desk to resolve. The beds had been made and the room had been neatly arranged, so it's clear housekeeping had completed their work. However, the bathroom was disgusting.
This was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The bed was made up with dirty sheets containing hair, food, and body fluids. The replacement sheets still had black spots all over them! None of the surfaces in the room were clean. The bathroom was very dirty as well.
We stayed here for two nights so we could go to the Ford Museum. It was well located for that but everything else was terrible. There were no luggage dollies when we arrived and we only had one bath towel in our room. We had to go down to the hotel desk for two more. The area in the hotel was very dirty and we used the laundry and it was also very dirty. The breakfast was almost non existent with no cereal or juice. We have been staying at Hampton's for the last week and each one was better prepared for covid issues. Our phone was not working and the internet was sporatic in our room. Also the rooms on the Michigan avenue side were very noisy.
