My husband and I needed a room for 1 night and thankfully this motel came up in our search. Very nice, very clean and comfortable. Very quiet location never heard other guests moving about. Nice TV, wall mounted blow dryer, step in shower and tub. Would definitely stay there again, in fact, we had checked out but we unexpectedly had to stay one more night so back to this motel. Another great night. Found out, at the Detroit Metro airport, I had forgotten my cell phone wallet at this motel. A family member went to this motel to see if they had found it. It was turned into the office by house keeping. All of my cell wallet contents were there, cards, cash etc. If we have to go back to the Detroit area we absolutely would stay at this Red Roof motel, no question. Can’t say enough good things about this motel.

Let me be clear, i am not normally “that person”. I dont like to give a negative review, but i feel compelled to warn others who look at pictures and think it is a safe, clean place to stay. I was here for 4 days for a business meeting, and i never felt more uncomfortable. Let me start by saying, I’m sure this has the potential to be a great place to stay, i just get the impression management is not to concerned! The property was riddles with trash, looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks! There was obviously prostitution going on, there was so much traffic in and out, i didn’t even feel comfortable walking out of my room! At one point, there were two vehicles outside my room doing obvious drug dealings! I did inquired about checking out early, but was told the manager does not allow refunds because i prepaid through expedia, so i toughed it out and made sure i came back before dark and locked my deadbolt! The room itself was basic, had everything i needed for my stay, however, a housekeeping supervisor should really take some time to inspect after the housekeeping staff. My room was “surface” clean, but definitely not deep cleaned. The corners of every wall were caked with hair and debris, the base of the toilet was missed, and there were pop cans under the bed. With that being said, stay at your own risk, i highly recommend a management change before it turns into a skid row type of place!

I went here this year with a few of my best friends in the summer. Nothing to dislike about this place. I really liked to how nice and to how cool the place looked from the inside and outside. I also really liked the trees and landscaping.

The hotel is very clean and the staff pleasant. It is a classic red roof building...2 stories with stairs in middle. There is no elevator so plan accordingly. There are 2 buildings which set back from road. It is near junction of 2 highways. When I first arrived I had a little difficulty finding entrance but it was dark. Also, depending on your direction of travel you might have to turn around because you cannot turn left from highway. Enjoyed my stay.
