I was checked in to a "1st floor" room (actually the floor is below ground level) and had a stunning view of the roots of the shrubs outside my window. This is what you get if you are a Marriott silver member paying $200+ per night. Not great.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your stay on Trip Advisor. We appreciate all the feedback we receive from our guests within the Trip Advisor community, and especially from our Silver Elite Marriott Rewards members. I am sorry we were unable to place you in a room with a more desirable view. When Henry Ford...

We stayed at The Dearborn Inn while visiting nearby attractions at The Henry Ford. Hotel building is a large, "old-style" building on large, attractive grounds. Ample free parking is available. Lobby area is huge and reminds one of grand hotels of the past. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was decent size, but included only one comfortable chair....

I don't get to come back to Detroit that often anymore, but the Dearborn Inn is one of the quaint reminders of the rich history of the area with modern features and appointments. I got in after a long day of travel and it is always nice to be greeted and checked-in quickly. Most of the time when I come...

We attended a conference at this hotel. Driving up we were expecting the usual Marriott tower-type hotel so we were surprised to land in a 'country-club' type historic hotel. I was particularly pleased with the front service. They were pleasant and efficient. We stayed in the McGuffey Building. I found it a bit stuffy but our room was big and...

You're taken aback by the grounds, the lobby, the atmosphere of a treasured landmark in the Dearborn area. The Dearborn Inn takes on a special aura around the holidays and is a gem in that it is always top drawer. The rooms may be limited by the architecture, but you won't mind. It's a beautiful place to stay.

Did a Mother & Daughter fun night. The room was not in the main inn but McGuffey Building. The room was large but made it appear to be missing something. The chair was just a little old chair would have been nice to have had a foot stool. Did find a neat surprise in the room was a table that...

Beautiful hotel and great location. they have a shuttle to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village if need. Lunch at the Restaurant was the best of the week. We stayed on the concierge level, where I wish drinks were included as the food was just so-so. Rooms were once, grounds were cool with the historic houses. Pool could use...

If you are looking for a great hotel in the Detroit metropolitan area, I would definite take a look at The Dearborn Inn, it is one of the best Hotels that I have ever been and simply amazing. Even though the hotel is a Historic hotel dating back to Henry Ford, is still retains the elegance of that time. The...

The friendliness of all staff from doorman to housekeeping was outstanding. We stayed in a Executive king room and it was very large- (room 374).The other couple we were with stayed in room 375 and it was even larger. The couches in both rooms were outdated as were others furnishings. But remember you are in an Inn so it really...

We visited in July. The rooms were nice and elegantly appointed. Be aware that this is a very old hotel. There are some chips in the plaster so to speak. My understanding is that it was once an airline "hanger" with rooms available for travelers visiting Henry Ford and his manufacturing plant. The food at bury restaurants is phenomenal. Order...
