I recently stayed at the Renaissance Center Marriott Hotel and was so frustrated by the time I got to my hotel room I wished I was staying somewhere else. I have been in this building many times before. I've eaten at Joe Muers and Andiamo's. I've looked at all the cool GM cars

I stay here often for work so I want to be fair in my review. I will start with the good: amazing gym, nice views of the city, staff is excellent, location is convenient downtown! I was working on a project and needed the computer. The business center charges $8 for the first 15

We stayed 2 nights during the US Figure Skating Nationals to be near downtown and man nothing has changed since I stayed 25 years ago! Old electrical that will scarcely hold an iPhone charge- frosted over on the inside windows, drafty, shaky 60 story elevator and more needs

I stayed at the Marriott Renaissance for 11 nights during the autoshow in January. Some of the top things that are important to me at the hotel are the cleanliness in the rooms the gym, guest service, and overall comfort. I am giving every single one of these items a 5 star. I

To walk over is fine. To catch an uber after an event at LCA walk across to the Fox theater. Much easier and quicker for Uber to pick you up.

Yes, it is an easy and safe walk in good weather. UBER is a good option if weather is bad. You can also take the PeopleMover train. There is a station in the RenCen. Take the train to the Grand Circus Park stop. From there it is a short walk to Cobo. That is also a cool area you might enjoy seeing as well. Have fun in the “D”.
