Like most reviewers say, this Inn is excellent! We stayed in the Owen House, true Victorian atmosphere. The parlor was a great area to relax in the evening. The breakfast was excellent. Marie, at the front desk, was so warm and helpful! The shuttle service is unbeatable. We used it 6 times during the weekend and it was flawless. David and...

Our room in the Roehm House was beautifully restored, spacious and comfortable. We were pleased to enjoy a sumptuous healthy breakfast buffet next door at the Scott House .. fun sitting at our table for two in the bay window overlooking charming Ferry Street. The shuttle service to & from the DIA & area restaurants was an extra bonus as...

There are three separate houses and I stayed in Scott. There was a lack of excitement in this one, almost looked as if it was unkept a feeling passing in through past the main entrance lacking warmth. One had to go to the main house for reception and breakfast. Breakfast was superb. The main house felt full of charm which...

The location is great if you want to do work in or visit downtown or midtown Detroit. It's within an easy walk of the Detroit Institute of Art and Wayne University. Not only are the turn-of-the century buildings beautifully restored but the service is impeccable. Breakfast, buffet style, is great. A shuttle van is available to bring you to and...

Loved the room and the atmosphere. Location was good for many activities including the museums, Wayne State, and restaurants within striking distance. The inn had more than adequate wifi, comfortable beds, and friendly service. So why was it just shy of great? There were a couple of places we thought the inn keepers could have upped their game a bit....

Built in 1886, Scott House, one of six of the Inns, has been restored to its elegant Arts and Crafts style. Lovely woodwork, three fireplaces on the first floor and numerous carved "suns" reflect the wealth of this eldest of the homes on East Ferry just a few blocks from the DIA. This is the "office" for the next door...

This Inn actually takes up most of entire city block, comprised of four old mansions and two carriage houses from the 1880's-90's, all converted into hotel space. It is quite elegant. It is located one block from the Detroit Institute of The Arts, which is why I selected it. I was in town for an event there. It is very...
