We have stayed here three times in the past year because it is the perfect place in Detroit. This historic and beautifully renovated building is unique because it houses both overnight guests and full time residents, who often interact in the parlor. Everything is top notch.

We stayed in a cabin at El Moore and loved our experience. The hotel is small and eco-friendly, in a great location. Each of the staff was extremely friendly and well informed about the renovation of the hotel and knowledgeable about the city of Detroit. Special shout out to

Would it be safe to walk after a concert at LCA to this hotel?
Hello Shelly, Yes it would be. Little Caesar's Arena is a 1 mile walk from the El Moore Lodge along our main avenue, Woodward. The Streetcar, the Q-line is also a straight-shot from the Arena to Canfield station, the closest station to us here in Midtown. The El Moore

I would say that they enhanced our experience and was a reason that I chose to stay here vs. a chain hotel or other establishment in the city. It was nice to see the reclaimed materials used in the rooms, energy efficient features throughout the Lodge, and to learn about their water conservation efforts and on-going developments to improve and engage the community. It's really a great area with lots of history and just steps from Woodward.

Hello! There is a nice range of accommodations here at the Lodge both in style and price. A guest has the opportunity to chose between 4 different accommodation styles: Garden, Parkview or Cabins. The most affordable are the Private Bunk Rooms at the Garden level beginning at 70$ per night. Parkview rooms are more of a traditional B&B style stay begin at 120$. Lastly, our Rooftop Cabins offer gorgeous views and beautiful balconies, begin at 190$ nightly. All of these accommodation styles are part of our over all sustainability mission. Hope this answers your question!
