Our stay at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast was perfect. We stayed Monday through Thursday. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Covid-19 precautions were taken seriously and were important. Inn keepers Jim and Noelene were so welcoming and we enjoyed talking with them throughout our stay. We reserved the Safari room because it has a private deck off back. The room was large and comfortable. We ate our takeout meals on the deck and sat there to relax throughout our trip. Breakfasts were delicious and so filling! Location was great for an enjoyable stroll to the edge of lake michigan where we watched the sunset. We would definitely recommend Sherwood Forest to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with personal touches and care.

We stayed in the Victorian room. It was lovely with a sitting area and comfortable bed. It was quite cold outside,so it was especially nice to go walking and return to our ensuite fireplace. They served a beautiful breakfast each morning with specially roasted coffee. It was a beautiful B&B,friendly owners and a very peaceful trip. We plan on returning after the snow melts. It is a quick walk to Lake Michigan and Douglas public beach. The owners follow all covid recommendations so it was also a safe place to stay.

Room Tip: With only six rooms,I think any would be nice. Its on a very quiet road tucked into trees.

My husband and I just spent several weeks in the Midwest and took a few days to spend together at this B&B. We stayed in the Log Cabin room for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The room had a fireplace and was so cozy. Not much is open in Michigan right now, but we were able to enjoy some winter hiking and get delicious food from local places. The B&B set out dinner plates etc. so we could eat comfortably. They are still serving a wonderful 2 course breakfast every morning which we really appreciated. I highly recommend a visit and hope to go back sometime soon.

The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating...The breakfasts during our 2day stay were Amazing and delicious 😋 we stayed in Tree Tops and the Rose Room, both were very clean and tastefully decorated. In addition the rest of the house was decorated for Christmas you’d be hard pressed to find a better decorated place. Macy’s ain’t got nothin on Sherwood Forest B&B All in All I couldn’t ask for a better mini vacation🥰
