Drury Inn & Suites Frankenmuth garners praise for its complimentary offerings and pet-friendly policy, despite occasional remarks on dated decor and overcrowding. Its prime downtown location is a hit with guests for its proximity to Main Street. Although there are mixed reviews regarding room quality and noise levels, the hotel is generally celebrated for its clean and comfortable accommodations. Amazing stay! We have stayed here many times but this stay was exceptional. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to go that extra mile to ensure their guests enjoy their stay!
Hotel and room was very clean and nicely appointed. Great TVs.
The breakfast is excellent. Very attentive staff. Food hot, tables and eating area clean and well looked after. Managers reception is just as good.
This was a great stay and we really appreciated the staff and their efforts.

From the moment we checked in, we knew we had selected a wonderful hotel. The staff is very service oriented, housekeeping was available to us and we enjoyed hot breakfast each morning. The room was spacious, good decor and well ventilated. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Always love Drury Inns and this one is no exception!

Location is ideal: Even my elderly parents could walk down the hill to the downtown Frankenmuth shops without any issues. My spouse and I could hoof it to the River Place shops from here, too. But it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet.

Traveling with family means traveling on a budget- hot breakfast and "kickback" dinner were great for that.

Kiddo loved the pool.

Staff were excellent throughout.

Will always look for Drury first in any city I plan to stay at.

My boyfriend and I visited Frankenmuth and stayed at the Drury Inn for 2 nights in February 2020. We had a 2 queen suite with microwave and mini fridge. The room was spotless, updated, and comfortable. Our stay included free hot breakfast (home fries, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pastries, fresh juice, and waffle station) and free “kickback” service in the evenings (3 alcoholic, drink tickets pp, pulled pork, baked beans, baked potato, salad, tortilla chips/cheese, hot dogs, etc). Again - all FREE! Hotel location is great, walking distance to most attractions. Lovely pool and hot tub, friendly staff, free parking, big rooms, free coffee, fountain pop and freshly popped popcorn available in the lobby. I’m not sure what more I can say! Great place to stay at and we’ll be back for sure!!

This hotel fits in nicely with the surrounding area, however, the gathering space is quite small.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, but it did not have any cups for hot drinks, those had to be secured from the hotel staff along with any tea bags etc.

The area set aside for eating was small and had a number of high tables versus the normal sized table and chairs. Due to restricted seating, we ended up taking our meals in the room.

The people behind the desk did not seem to know what was going on in their town. We asked several questions on where to eat and were sent to locations that were closed. I understand that things are different with Covid, however, I do expect that directions and information is up to date.

We were in this location for 3 nights and we were very glad to leave.

We have been staying at the Drury for approximately 30 years now. This hotel is always well maintained and now in the days of Covid is kept very clean. The location is great as you can walk to downtown if you want .Return trip is uphill for a bit but unless we're planning some big purchases we usually walk if the weather is good. The breakfast has several choices always eggs, biscuits and gravy and waffle makers. There's always some fruit, yogurt and cereal as well. The kick back is nice in the evening if you're not looking for a large dinner. Tony has a good staff where everyone does there best to be helpful. We especially enjoy Kristen at the front desk and Shallen ( sp) who takes care of the breakfast most mornings. We have stayed here twoice this year, once in July and again in late Sept.

Friendly helpful staff, nice clean rooms, 2 very tasty buffet meals make this hotel a great choice. The basic price is competitive, but when you factor in saving $50 a day for a couple on food then you have an outstanding value. We have stayed here 3 times the last visit was earlier this week

Average experience, higher prices. Our rooms were not ready at the designated check in time. We had to wait for a while. The rooms themselves were comfortable, but the decor seemed like some was updated and newer and some was older, leaving a mismatched, partially dated look like one could expect to find in a much cheaper motel. The evening buffet was jam packed, and when we could get in, it was picked over. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to our dogs, but we could have had an equal quality stay somewhere less costly.

Good location in Frankenmuth. The staff was real friendly. Never seen such a hard working staff in my life. Front desk not only checking in guests, but also mopping floors and refilling food. Everyone seemed to be doing their part and then some more. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A bit dated however. Only one elevator which can be a wait for during busy times. The late evening reception dinner was basic items, free drink coupons. The breakfast in the morning was standard continental as any typical hotel chain. We had one room a suite and the other standard room. Both rooms were fine but they put us on different floors which made us have to use the elevator. Just one tip, they give you a booklet on checkin for coupons to use in Frankenmuth. We ended up going to Bronner’s first before checking in just to learn we could have saved money and got a free ornament with the coupons that Drury gave us, so check in first, get the coupons, before you start exploring Frankenmuth.

I read the reviews before booking a one night stay. I’ll be honest to say I had high expectations based off the reviews, but sadly was not impressed and would stay elsewhere next time.
* Mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on a trampoline.
* We were on the first floor and our room had lots of noise from passing cars and people. Additionally the dog across the hall from us barked on and off.
* Our air conditioning unit rattled all night long and was so loud. Our room was stuffy, not cold at all. The noise plus the uncomfortable mattress kept me up most of the night. With two very young kids sleeping it wasn’t worth asking to switch rooms or have someone intrude in our space to look at it at 9pm.
* The hotel has 1 washer and 1 dryer. For the entire hotel. I won’t tell you how long I had to wait in line for the dryer and there were 2 people behind me in line waiting as well. Just how I wanted to spend my time was sitting in the hallway waiting so I didn’t lose my spot in line for the one dryer. Eventually the front office staff offered the guy who had been drying his stuff and occupying the one dryer for 90+ minutes because he shoved 3 loads in to dry, to use their hotel dryer when he asked. Completely dismissed the others who had been waiting patiently in line. No staff ever came up to see what had been going on.
* I’ve never stayed in a hotel where I have seen so many dogs. I saw one couple come in within 3 alone to themselves. There really should be a limit on how many at once. I must have seen at least 20 different dogs in and out of this hotel. It was raining and the halls just stunk of wet dogs.

Hotel staff was very kind with every interaction had, but there didn’t seem to be many people working. Breakfast was adequate.

Unfortunately we won’t stay here again in the future. At minimum I need a hotel that offers a comfortable mattress to sleep on and cooling units that don’t rattle and keep me up all night with the noise.
