I booked a room at The Lakeshore in this past summer. The staff and especially the owner was inconsiderate, rude and unresponsive. We walked into the room and it smelled like SULFUR (rotten eggs) from the window a/c unit. They counter offer was offering me another room that was connected to their office with an access door to the room...

My husband and I stayed two nights in late summer 2016. We loved the convenience, and the non-fussy, welcoming atmosphere of the Inn. We walked wherever we wanted to go in town, and drove to favorite stops in the area. We plan to make it back to the Lakeshore Inn again, when we need to get our Glen Arbor fix,...

An older property that is clean and somewhat updated. Pros: quiet, large room, mini Fridge and Microwave, hot shower and nice tub, and comfy bed (very important). Cons: no coffeemaker in the room, dated furniture, dark room. Our room had broken slats on the mini blind and the other was missing a wand and did not operate. Overpriced for what...

We initially chose Lakeshore because of its location… It is situated between two segments of the beautiful Sleeping Bear National Park. We discovered that it is also just short walks away from the local beach, great restaurants, and delightful stores. The inn itself is not fancy, but it had everything we wanted or needed: microwave, refrigerator, good shower, comfortable bed,...

Small little motel. Rooms seem recently remodeled with new paint and flooring. Not fancy, but clean and conveniently located. A/C didn't work well and pillows were not quite comfortable. Desk staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for local restaurants and activities.

My husband planned a short, end of the summer family getaway this August. We had 2 nights and 3 days in Glen Arbor. This motel put us within walking distance to downtown and Lake Michigan. Good mattresses and shower. We enjoyed the quaint balcony and charming foliage.

There were only two things I wanted from a hotel for our one night stay: a clean room and a nice shower, since we would be exploring the dunes all day. The staff was friendly and the room was definitely clean, but I was seriously annoyed with the shower situation. The water pressure was fine, but the water temperature was...

This place is a little pricey, but everything is expensive this time of year. But the room was spotless and comfortable. We thought our mattress was very comfortable. There are a couple of chairs and a table out in the front lawn, and we sat out there in the evening, which was pleasant. This motel is very close to most...

The price for hotel rooms is way to high. The dresser was missing handles, the towel hanger was not properly installed plus we have to ask for the clean towels every day. We stayed there 3 nights and the room was never cleaned during that time

We stumbled on the Inn when arriving in Glen Arbor, it is a small and quaint motel. We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean with a refrigerator and a microwave. We highly recommend it. It was in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We would have loved to stay two nights but had another destination.
