My husband and I and our dog stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Homestead has the most beautiful grounds set along the Lake Michigan shoreline of Good Harbor Bay. With the rolling hills, streams, ponds, and towering trees, it's the perfect...More
Joined several friends for dinner at the only restaurant at the Homestead Resort (albeit the deli is very nice). A beautiful location overlooking Lake Michigan is spoiled by a poorly managed Cafe Manitou: a weary Haitian staff was less than enthusiastic while relaying to us...More

We enjoy kayaking down the Crystal River. We aren’t experts which made it really fun. I recommend Crystal River Outfitters. There aren’t many bars in town. Boonedocks is fun, I think they have a band. It does get pretty busy. The only bar on the property is down at the beach club. They have an outdoor bar and I would highly recommend catching the sunset if the weather permits. You can also grab something to eat there.
