My husband and I are basically first time skiers. We found the process very user friendly. We are in our mid-forties and we were expecting to be a bit intimidated, but that was not the case at all. The facility was well organized and laid out very well. The equipment we rented was very good quality and they were well-staffed...

Boyne Highlands may not have all the steeps but they do have a larger variety of trials and activities to appeal to everyone wanting to snow play. The impressive thing about the resort is all the employees we encountered made explicit attempts to ensure a pleasurable experience. After USSA completely botched the acquisition of NASTAR, putting considerable strain on all...

Boyne Highlands is fun, any season of the year, but we especially enjoy the winter activities - skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and the indoor activities like swimming in an indoor/outdoor pool. In 2016 they have added even more weekend events like a cardboard sled race and more. The Heather Highlands Inn condos have gas log fireplaces, free wi-fi,...

Great family friendly resort, affordable yet unique and classy. Full breakfast buffet included in our package was well worth it. The kids loved the outdoor pool/hot tub. Skiing good and not too crazy busy.

This place has great service and really gives you the ski resort feel you're looking for. The staff and personal across the board are friendly and cooperative. I couldn't believe what we got for the amount our group paid. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable. They have a bedroom as soon as you walk in with queen bed, a...

Growing up half way between Cleveland and Toldeo, we went to New York or Pennsylvania for skiing. I went to Boyne with my local ski club and was surprised by what I found. In a weekend we skied three different mountains within close proximity with plenty of challenge for skiers of all levels. The trails were well maintained and the...

Great resort. Almost never have to leave the property. Golf courses are second to none. Our condos were modern & clean. Shuttle to Casino in Petoskey is a nice bonus. Staff does a great job. Hospitality!

Me and my girlfriend were there with another couple for a 4 night stay. The food was excellent, the people in the resort were very courteous and the trails were amazing. As a first time skier, I enjoyed the pleasure of skiing down some on the most beautiful ski trails I've ever seen. The ski lifts were reasonably priced based...

My husband and I went away for a weekend to Boyne Highlands. We both had not been downhill skiing in years and wanted to experience northern Michigan in the winter. We stayed at the resort for the weekend which was really nice. We were somehow upgraded to a larger room at no cost. The room was a European suite, and...

Everything you need for a ski weekend. There is no need to leave the property once you have arrived. The service was great at the front desk as well as in the bar lounge. The hotel itself is an older building and therefore has normal ware and tear but the friendly staff helps make up for that. If you're a...
