What a fantastic experience in the snowy woods of Northeast Michigan! After hearing about it for years, we decided to see for ourselves what a horse drawn tour through elk country and world class dinner at their lodge was all it was advertised to be. It was all that and more!

Thank you for the excellent review and we are glad you more than enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again, every season offers a different experience between the scenery and the different phases of the elk. In the spring the elk are in velvet and in the fall you will experience them bugling during mating season. We also host Murder Mystery Weekends throughout the year, which could make for another amazing bucket list item.

I believe there is some cover on the carriers but i don;\'t know if they can be completely enclosed. I believe you need to call the resort to make certain.

Thunder Bay Resort asked when making reservations if there were anybody in our party with food allergies, but nothing about vegans. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. I would suggest calling them to find out.

Yes, we do, our Murder Mystery Weekends start on Friday night and end with a breakfast on Sunday morning, so it is a weekend long event. We have one in August on the 18th-20th and two in November. Prices vary depending on your lodging option you decide, either a suite, villa, or chalet. For more information or exact prices you can call our reservations office or visit our website, we have a page dedicated to the event there as well.
