I was worried about reserving a room "sight unseen", and because my husband is very picky about up to date and clean motels. We were VERY pleased with this cute little motel. I loved the ceiling fan in our room. They have 17 units and is family owned. Upgrades have been done. Tile flooring in bathroom, microwave and fridge, flat...

Came upon this hotel as everything in the area was booked. This motel was 10 min to Sleeping Bear, Glen Arbor or Frankfort, perfect local. The owner was very friendly and had many recommendations and clear directions. The room was spotless. As we got last minute reservations we got the only room available. It was the large room with 3...

I was travelling by motorcycle to the Sleeping Bear Dunes from Wisconsin and picked this motel as it was much more economical than staying in Traverse City. Actually was the cheapest motel I found in the area online! I try to stay in these little motels while travelling. The motel was VERY nice, lots of space for me and my...

Staying here was a pleasant surprise: the room was exceptionally clean, the amount of space suited us well and the staff were friendly and accommodating. An added plus for us is that they have a couple of units that are dog-friendly. We usually stay in the large corporate hotels (Marriott, Hilton, etc.) but thought we'd check out the small local-owner...

This is a small, clean, well maintained, mom and pop motel. I was surprise at how large the bathroom was, big enough for two to move around. The water was very hot and the pressure strong. Towels were middle of the road but no hair dryer. The beds were soft with comfy sheets. The room came with a medium sized...

I came on business and I like to stay at the local motels. This one was by far the best I have stayed at. The room looked remodeled and clean. I did go in the middle of winter and it did take a little bit to warm the room up. We had a snowstorm that night and when I woke...

I came on business and was very pleased to find such clean and well maintained rooms for my coworkers and myself. Staff were friendly and worked with us when we had to rebook our trip. Conveniently located close to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Lake Michigan, and the Platte River Fish Hatchery. A great find!

The Honor Motel is the best! Wonderful staff and very friendly. My 3 girlfriends and I stayed there again in August for 9 days. We stayed in the separate bldg. that holds 3 double beds (perhaps queen size?). We each get a bed, the room and bathroom are always clean every day. With a coffeemaker, coffee provided, microwave and little...

We have stayed at the Honor motel several times now, for an annual gathering of family in the Honor area. They offer simple, basic lodging at very reasonable rates. Each room has a coffee maker, micro, fridge, free WiFi, and cable. Great value. Some rooms have had modest make overs (room 1 is nice). I do wish they would upgrade the...

Thank you for staying with us Darren, we always appreciate your families business. I would like to clarify something though. All of our rooms are non-smoking and have been for several years. It is however still ok to smoke outside.
