Stopped here on way up to the UP. Generally clean, but not exceptional. Convenient on off of I75.Did not use pool, but it looked clean. Person at desk seemed to have difficulty processing the check-in, took longer than usual.

We were here for a funeral in Topinabee and this was the perfect place to stay. It was close to the church and cemetery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was okay--they had Belgium waffles, eggs, but no sausage, toast, bagels, biscuits (and crockpot with biscuit gravy), English muffins and blueberry muffins,...

Hometown Inn is a nice place to stop for the night. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our first room's a/c stopped 10 minutes after arriving and they were able to find us another room right away. The breakfast was okay. There was not much variety; limited protein source (just "military" eggs), no fresh fruit or yogurt. My husband...

Four of us in two queen room and it was very comfortable. Not a very busy area but the convenience of being just of 75 made it an easy choice for us. Good breakfast and clean hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Reservation process was easy as we called on our way up north.

If you ask for a towel, the service here will be rude and give you an old ripped rag as a towel. It's not a nice fresh place you would want to stay. The service got worse from our first visit, which was just as terrible. We've gotten bloody sheets each time we stay.

Not impressed, didn't feel like a clean place and after getting home and noticing bites on family members I regret the stay. (And ended up being a very expensive say).....Pool area got very crowded when locals can pay and come use the pool even when hotel booked to capacity.

This hotel is NOT what it used to be, that's for sure. With a rude, scamming, dishonest manager, I never got passed the front desk this time. Previously, the room we had was dirty, but I thought we'd give it another try this year. Bad choice on our part. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
