My husband and I stayed two nights in the Vineyard Suite this past week. Clean, comfortable, nice size room with walk in shower stall. Very happy that we chose this property while visitng Traverse City and the surrounding area. This lodge is located in a secluded area in Interlochen and put us in a great proximity to see all the...

Good location to the area attractions. Breakfast was delivered to the room everyday at the time specified which is a nice option for a bed and breakfast. There were good food options but it was just ok as far as quality. The yogurt parfait with berries was the best option but could have used more granola. It was a relaxing...

We needed a perfect two roomed place to stay, somewhere close to the wedding we were attending at Long Lake, Traverse City, and we got that! We had a late check in because of a cancelled flight from Detroit and having to drive...no probs! Our boat row on the lake was just lovely! Great breakfasts Dave! We stayed in the...

I’ll generally echo the five-star praise for Lake ‘n Pines Lodge. I had their smallest room by myself for a week and was very pleased with the considerate hosts, the breakfast variety and preparation, the scenery, the proximity to the music academy, the quantity of local tourist information, but most of all the quiet. Even with children in the house...

We had a wonderful time! The breakfasts were great and the setting was perfect for us. Being able to kayak on the lake among the lily pads was a bonus. We were close to Interlochen, Traverse City and all the wineries. We like alot of room for the two of us, so the Vineyard was perfect.

Full marks for this little gem. The proprietors, Dave and Melanie, run this small, out of the way B&B with obvious care and attention to detail. While the breakfast is perfunctory, every other detail is well thought out. Taking a row boat out for a paddle on the semi-private lake? Fishing poles are conveniently placed to hand. Just sat down...

Great time! We found Lake N Pines when looking for a place to stay near the Sand Dunes. Our accomodations in the Pine Nature Cottage was perfect. We had plenty of room, TV for the kids, BBQ for my husband and I didn't have to cook breakfast 'cause Dave brought it to us each morning. The row boats and kyaks...

Unbelievable !!! We took a quick, not very well planned vacation and just lucked in to Lake N Pines Lodge. We were shocked to say the least, we stayed in Vineyard room, beautiful. It's like being in your own private retreat, we never saw anyone else except owner. He's quite a cook by the way, he led us to several...

We had a wonderful time, the Lake N Pines Lodge is on the top of my list, I would stay there again in a heart beat. Dave and his wife are very welcoming people and helpful. They listen to what their guest want and really helped us plan our time in Michiigan. We couldn't be happier with our stay with...
