Booked 7 nights through AARP travel site. When we arrived we were given the second floor, no elevator. Hallways had been updated. When we tried to enter the room the key card did not work so a trip downstairs to get this corrected. This happened a total of three times every time we needed to leave our room that night....

I apologize that you did not have a pleasant stay. We do our best to accommodate all our guests but being the busy season we have limited ability in moving rooms around. If you do decided to give us another chance in the future please let us know ahead of time you would like a first floor room and we...

The rooms have been updated. The beds are comfortable, the pillows were not great. Clean room, at an affordable price. Convenient, though noisy location, right on Hwy 41. Breakfast vouchers were for the adjacent cafe. The pool was closed by the health department prior to our visit.

Thanks for the review. to clarify the pool was closed for 2 days as the chlorine level was determined to be low. We immediately corrected the problem and the pool is back in service. Sorry for the inconvenience. Ryan G.M.

This is a nice place to stay if you are working in this area. Staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet. As long as your are not looking for any frills this is a nice location. The room had a refrigerator and A great shower. This isn't a place for a romantic weekend.

The original booking price was $95 via Priceline. The clerk added $5 for a pet. The pool was ok. Hot tub was hot, but no time designated kids only. Breakfast was great. At $105 including tip for waitress during breakfast, I'm really pleased with the value of this stay, especially a last minute booking, on a weekend during tourist season.

This hotel is no longer a Best Western and that caused a bit of confusion at getaroom. The rooms are very nice and could easily be Best Western. The people were kind and considerate. They found me 1st floor room since stairs are a problem. There are several free choices for breakfast at the grill next door which include coffee...

My Dad and I stayed at the Magnuson 2 Nights for My Auntie's Funeral. Originally we had thought that it would be for one night but the schedule was different than intended so we had to do a separate reservation for the second night. When we got in we asked that we could keep the same room and with a...

We stayed at the Country Inn one night. We arrived without reservations. We were greeted and checked in promptly. The room accommodated a roll away. Breakfast consisted of vouchers to be used at the restaurant next door. Good service there too.

This was a older hotel with some wear but it was clean and close to Marquette. They don't have breakfast at the hotel but instead give you a coupon to go to the restaurant next door for breakfast. You had 4 choices that were free and if you didn't want any of those you could pick anything off the menu...

Booked two rooms here way back in September for Northern Michigan's graduation weekend in May. I even paid for both rooms at that time. Upon checking in, we were told by one of the front desk personnel that one of the rooms had not been paid. Fortunately the other woman working at the desk knew what was what and told...

I apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. I have addressed most of these issues with the staff so hopefully they will not occur again and you will be glad to know we had the door lock fixed within 5 minutes of moving you to the other room. Thanks for your input. Ryan L. G.M.

Nice motel within walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shopping. Clean rooms, Flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. It has a pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. You get a coupon for a choice of free breakfast or $3 off on one at the restaurant next door. A good deal for the price.
