We stayed in George's Room. It has a fireplace and hot tub that are very enjoyable. Most of the restaurants are just a block away and are well within walking distance. Everybody was very nice and pleasant to speak with and be around. They encourage you to not stay in your room the whole time and to be comfortable around...

Thank you for choosing the Munro House. This is a really great place to getaway to for all the reasons you stated. Nice rooms in a great small town with friendly people, great staff, and good food in a convenient location. This great old house is in a great little town that is not too far away from your house....

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and couldn't get away for any length of time so we did some research on B&B's and ended up here at the Munro House B&B. We arrived around 4:30pm and were promptly greeted by Mike when we opened the front door to this 67oo sq ft mansion (originated in the 1830's)....

Thank you for spending your anniversary with us. We think it is important to make people feel welcome in our home at first contact. The grand tour is something I hope everyone enjoys as much as I like giving. Those who are interested and ask a lot of questions get a pretty good history lesson. Those who are less interested...

Wonderful, clean, bright, welcoming place to stay in the Jonesville/Hillsdale area. Mike and his wife are warm and friendly hosts; you can tell they love what they do! The history behind the house, and each of the rooms is fascinating and adds depth to the experience of staying at a bed and breakfast. Vanilla waffles are a must-try if offered!...

Thank you for feeling welcome in our house. Lori's secret recipe waffles are our signature item and we try to offer them every other day. Your name tag and address lead me to believe that you had stayed in the General's room just last week. We regularly sleep in all of the rooms and I had not noticed a problem...

We try to keep our place looking good and we had just finished prepping the fireplaces for the cooler weather. I enjoy making breakfast. Lori is one of the "gabby girls". We like having nice people in the house. Thank you for choosing the Munro House.

We stayed one night because we were going to an Amish wedding in a neighboring town. This place was very relaxing and close to our destination. It is within walking distance to most restaurants in town. The tub and the bed were great! You can't go wrong here! The house is just beautiful.

Early check-ins can be arranged with a phone call on the day of arrival. A half hour notice usually allows us enough time to return home, or to finish cleaning the room to allow for early guests. It was our pleasure to make your special event a pleasant experience. Thank you for staying with us.

Being that it was for business travel, I first decided on the traditional hotel travel, and stayed at the Days Inn. Without going into too much detail, my room was gross, my office chair was extremely dirty and there was a large brown stain on one of my "clean" towels. I immediately checked out and looked for other lodging options....

I have always said that "if I had found a place like this to stay while I was traveling for a living, I might still be traveling for a living." Lots of hotels nickel and dime their guests for internet, parking, snacks, pop, water, and movies. We make these things part of the B&B experience and have converted many business...
