I don't have a reason to pass by, or visit Kalamazoo Michigan and that's a pity now. Having stayed in many B&B's in many countries, the Kalamazoo House stands out as one of the best anywhere. There isn't any one thing that puts it over the top, or makes up for other shortcomings like many B&B's. Rather, every thing is...

We stayed with Laurel and Terry last year, so it was an easy choice to return this year on our way to and from the Harley Davidson 110th anniversary in Milwaukee. Located next to many downtown restaurants and attractions, Kalamazoo House is the place you want to stay. Rooms are comfy and well-appointed. Breakfast choices are many, and served in...

This was my first stay at a B&B in America, and WOW, it did not disappoint. My husband and I decided to do a romantic weekeend getaway to Kalamazoo to tour Bell's breweries and sample beers at the Eccentric Cafe, and The Kalamazoo House was the perfect location to make our trip complete! Laurel and Terry could not be nicer...

Innkeepers Laurel and Terry offer the best of hospitality. From freshly baked cookies and cold milk at bedtime to an excellent breakfast when you are ready, the pampering was excellent. Our room was lovely and comfortable and anything we might need was available for our comfort. The house itself is worth the visit. And Kalamazoo is a wonderful place to...

My husband and I stopped through Kalamazoo to visit the Air Zoo after a long roadtrip. We had no idea what to expect of the Kalamazoo House Bed and Breakfast, as the rest of Kalamazoo wasn't what we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised by the house, our room, the innkeepers AND the wonderful breakfast they prepared for us! The...

My wife and I wanted a getaway weekend and went to Kalamazoo for the art, food and some craft beer. We wanted to stay downtown and chose the Kalamazoo House. We had a good time visiting “Kazoo”, but the Kalamazoo House made the trip memorable. The facility is a nice example of how the “well to do” used to live...

I have stayed at the Kalamazoo House for probably 20 years. Laurel and Terry are the best owners yet! They continue to improve each and every year. On top of that, they are a joy to be around. I asked for a grab bar in the bathroom and in an hour it was installed. Evening wine sessions with the hosts...

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and historic B & B in Kalamazoo. The owners, Laurel and Terry, are very gracious, warm, and knowledgeable of the area. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The house itself is beautifully restored, as are the rooms. Our bed was so comfortable! The shower...

Don't be fooled by the advertisement for the Kalamazoo House, the picture is of a winter setting. Our experience took place last week, 8/22/13 for our 49th wedding anniversary. The gardens were lovely and the house was beautiful. You will be welcomed with gracious hospitality and truly made to feel at home. Brunch with its many choices was excellent. Laurel...

We just got back from a great overnight stay in Kalamazoo. The Kalamazoo House B&B was the perfect place to stay - easy walking to restaurants downtown, quiet, and so many lovely personal touches. Laurel was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us around, and made sure we had everything we needed. We took full advantage of the...
