This was a beautiful old mansion on a hillside that was turned into a bed & breakfast. There were some highs, but more lows in our stay. We were free to tour the place and any rooms not rented were open, so we saw a majority of them. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was not in...

There are two ways to look at Henderson Castle: the luxury hotel it purports to be, or the quirky B&B it is. Reading the website, I wondered if I would need to wear a necktie, so formal and meticulous did it all seem. In reality, things are pretty ramshackle, and the staff, nearly all college kids, looks shabby and acts...

My wife and I went last weekend (March, 2017) to celebrate her 40th birthday. From the hospitality of Casey, to the meals prepared by Chef Moyet, to the intimate touches of the Jacuzzi on there room, the sauna, and all the intricacies ... we couldn't recommend the Henderson Castle Inn enough. A few other reviews mentioned that with the age...

First, you have to understand that this building is 122 years old. With age come perks and things that are not so perky. It's not as perfect as a modern hotel. Old buildings have more dust, so expect it. Things are worn, expect that...but the things that needed to be clean were clean. We stayed in the French Room during...

My wife and I visited this beautiful venue for a "Murder Mystery" dinner and were absolutely delighted. First impressions matter, and it would be very difficult to surpass the impression made by this beautifully restored Victorian home standing guard on a hill high above the city. Surrounded by both ornamental and working gardens as well as a private vineyard, all...

Where to begin! Henderson Castle is a beautiful building and has so much potential! However, my visit there today was HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! My daughter, two close friends, and myself were there for the High Tea experience! It was not favorable!! Tea was warm..not hot..nor was there any lemon or cream for it! The roses in the middle of the table...

We spent New Years evening at the Henderson Castle Inn. The historic building has all the modern conveniences (including a rooftop hot tub), Wi-Fi, and spa facilities. The staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful. The rooms) are clean and our bed was comfortable. We got to see the other guest rooms - each has its own unique design. Our room...

We had a wonderful, quiet evening, staff was personable and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean, a pleasant experience to say the least. We enjoyed dinner in the castle and breakfast as well. Be sure to ask for a tour, the boiler in the basement was fascinating to me.

We came to the Henderson Castle Inn when a last minute change of plans left us in need of a place to stay. From the minute we drove up the driveway we knew we had made a good decision. The Castle was decorated perfectly for the Christmas Holiday. Words cannot express how beautiful and festive it was. It would be...

Came here for a night away with my husband. Great tour, very informative-full of historical facts. Dinner was lovely. Quiet, tenderloin was cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere. We stayed in the French room. Great room and bathroom was amazing. If you're like inking for a quiet romantic quaint getaway this is it. Would definitely visit again!
