We have stayed in nicer Fairfield Inns, but this was acceptable. The elevator should have better labelling - it was obscure in the narrow hallway with no identifying signage except a small plaque beside the elevator door. The bathroom arrangement was not the best - the separate toilet/tub room was oversized, which left a cramped space for the sink. Ventilation...

Dear Ann D, Thank you so much for your wonderfully detailed review of our property. We are so glad to hear that you liked your room. We agree that the elevator is a little hidden, so we will look into getting a proper sign for it very soon. We are upgrading our bathrooms over the next couple months, so while...

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The pool and main foyer area are under renovations so it makes it tough to give it a fair review. Likely will be up to Fairfield standards by then. Not the friendliest hotel staff I have met in my travels and when ever I asked about anything I was left to feel I was...

This place is very convenient, just a few blocks off the Interstate. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff checking us in were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included but was not worth staying for. Scrambled eggs were cold dry and hard. Not much breakfast left at 8:30 a.m. Very disappointing.

Valued Guest, Thank you for your honest survey of our hotel. We strive to always provide an excellent guest experience and are sad to see that we have fallen short of your (and our) expectations. We see that we have areas of improvement and will provide guidance to our breakfast staff to see that this does not occur in the...

Room 219. Lobby has a nice setup. The room was mostly clean. Tight fit around one of the beds, maybe a foot between the bed and wall. The bathroom was a disappointment. Mold around fixtures and mildew on shower curtain. I haven't seen nonsense like this since college. The pool is undergoing repair so it's closed. The breakfast area is...

Thank you for your honest review of our hotel. We strive to provide excellent guest service and are sad that we fell short of your expectations. The pool is just the beginning of our renovations, which will include updating bathrooms. We hope to show you all the improvements we are making the next time you are in town.

Family came into town, I met them here for a visit. They had just checked in and were already checking out due to the pool being "out of service". The outside looks unclean and needs maintenance. The hallway and room itself had an awful pungent stench (similar to cat urine, although, it was probably mildew), I'm not sure I could...

We apologize for the inconvenience to your family member. We did find them another hotel just down the road at an excellent rate and they seemed quite pleased with our handling of the situation. If they have any other concerns, they are welcome to contact us.

Nice hotel right off I 94. Cracker Barrel right nearby ( walking distance). Front desk was efficient and morning free breakfast was ok. Room was comfortable but did not have a recliner chair or extra chair other than the desk chair. Room was clean. Somewhat noisy especially in the am. We were on the second floor by elevator and had...

Very disappoint because I attempted to check out early due to a family emergency and was told to call back later about the billing. The next day informed that because we had used the beds (napped on them for 1 hour because we were from out of town) we were going to be changed. It was an unforeseen circumstance and...

Came to spend the night and see a show at the Barn Theater. The hotel is near the I-94 so it was EZ access. Short drive to the theater located in Augusta Michigan. The front desk lady was very friendly , the Breakfast was good and we had a good stay.

This is an old style FI. Rooms are dated. No fridge or micro in room. I did ask for a fridge and they supplied one. Breakfast was normal FI fare. No fresh oatmeal station. There is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. This was fine for a quick overnight but I would not do an extended stay.

We stayed here on our way to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The hotel and the rooms are nicely done and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is open late (11pm) which gave the kids an opportunity to swim even though we arrived fairly late in the evening. Breakfast had a good selection too. Would stay again.
