We rented the A-frame cottage for our daughter's wedding so the wedding party could all stay together and it's close to our house. The lake is close by, actually this resort is on the entrance of the south bayou. There was water sports rentals but they have now discontinued this. They have several parts of the resort they rent such...

I would have given the resort a very positive review. The rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. It was a good place to stay if you want to have your own kitchen and living space. For our family of three, this was great. The resort is also nicely located, close to the state parks and Ludington. As others...

We stayed in unit #3 for two nights and it was ok. The room was clean and as described, cozy. The owners are very nice people and use of the kayaks and such is great! A couple of down sides: one is that the water from the faucets has a very strong well water odor. Just not a fan. Also,...

If you enjoy non competitive kayaking, a waterfront room, respectful staff who are not always right at your face, home cooked meal in your own cottage, a quiet, clean and recently renovated setting, and affordability, this is the place for your next visit to cottage country.

We just returned from a week's stay here and overall, if I could give the experience a 20, I would! I'll start with a few minimal negatives, that were far outweighed by the positives: 1. Wifi - We stayed in a stand-alone cottage (#8), that was close enough to the motel that we should have (and were told we would)...

The helpfulness of the hosts and the staff is a 10!! The amenities, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks top notch. We stayed for 3 nights in cottage #10. The cottage is old and rundown, dire need of even modest repair but clean. I'd stay again, but in the remodeled units.

We appreciate your review of our resort. We are glad you were happy with us, our employees and the cleanliness of our resort. Unit # 10 is our oldest unit and is on our list for fall renovations. Thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again.

First off we are a family of 4 and really don't like to stay in hotels due to limited space and limited adult time. We found this little slice of heaven after a few hours of searching online for a reasonably priced resort. We stayed in unit 7 which has 2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen and bathroom. It had a door...

This is a quiet, lovely place to stay and close to Ludington State Park. Love the free kayaks and bikes. Shirley and Bill are great hosts. Two thumbs up!!!! It is a great place to walk around the Lake. Rooms are clean and great watching the sunset from the dock. Centrally located to drive to Manistee or Pentwater.
