Sue Ann and her son Andrew were very pleasant and shared some of the history of the house. Breakfast was wonderful, and Andrew even cooked something special for my husband. I would highly recommend staying here.

We were greeted by Gary and Sue Ann with wonderful enthusiasm. Gary shared the history and a short tour of the house. The mansion was built in 1905 and still has almost all of the original architecture. We stayed in the king suite which was very spacious and lovely. They have a very nice coffee/tea bar outside of the rooms...

We stayed for two nights at the end of June as part of our honeymoon. The Cartier Mansion really lived up to, and exceeded, all expectations. Aside from the amazing home and wonderful room, there are so many little amenities, such as a personal French press, wine selection or available beach towels that made this place one of a kind....

We stayed at the Cartier Mansion on June 12th, after arriving in Ludington on the ferry from Manitowoc, WI (a fun and highly recommended excursion)! We were warmly greeted by Andrew who gave us a wonderful historical tour of the mansion which is beautiful! We stayed in the Round Room, which is small but very charming! Our room and bathroom...

Our visit to Cartier could not have been nicer. The one hundred-year-old house was stunning and contains many original furnishings. The wallpapers, wood and floors are in prime condition and the addition of baths to the guest rooms were beautifully done. It was our host's warm welcome, hid enthusiastic recitation of the history of the house, and the fabulous breakfast...

Traveling through northwest Michigan and if you are near Ludington, this is the B&B to stay at. Great historic home built by a lumber baron in the early 1900's and they have retained many go the wonderful qualities of the era. We stayed in the Lighthouse room. Room is small, but fit our budget. Very clean with very comfortable bed...

My husband and I have stayed here several times. We love staying in the King's suite. It has a king bed, sitting room, a balcony, a circular shower, and tubs. Gary and Sue Ann are always hospitable, and accommodating. They have allowed us a late check out. Bicycles are available if you want to ride. It is convenient to town;...

We enjoyed our stay, the host family is fantastic! We stayed in the King Suite (and the bathroom is a treat), and had the house to ourselves, such a luxury. The breakfasts were excellent, beautifully presented and prepared to our requests. On our last day, before departing on the ferry, the host was kind enough to include my mother-in-law for...

I recently stayed at the Cartier Mansion Bed & Breakfast during a recent Photography Class with Todd & Brad Reed which was held at the Cartier location. The accommodations are very impressive with much of the Mansion retaining the original woodwork, lighting and extensive detailing. Each room on the lower level was finished in a separate wood and was gorgeous....
