It's probably one of the last stops in Michigan...keep going on into Ohio to find something ...just not worth the money. dirty place. It's a bit off the I-75 (we were headed South) and were tired. We let price rule our judgment. Should have paid more and stayed somewhere else.
We stayed here on a previous roadtrip because it was getting late. We had stayed at Super 8s out west that were renovated and very comfortable. Not so, at this place. Where do I even start? I don't want to make this review too lengthy. The man who runs this place (easily the only other person in the building during our stay), is absentee and doesn't do things up to par. Our room was dingy, dilapidated, and in dire need of housekeeping and a repair man. There were no blankets on the beds! That's something I've never seen before. When I called the concierge for a blanket, he asked us MEET HIM in the lobby, and provided something that appeared to be made from fibreglass. The curtains opened up on their own multiple times after we physically closed them, suggesting a haunting. The wooden bureau was broken, and had a front panel sitting on top. The bathroom door wouldn't close because the toilet obstructed it. The TV was fuzzy on every channel. We slept for two hours in our clothes, and at 3am decided to leave. We had to call multiple times to check out, and he didn't even get up to pick up the key. I'm not a picky person, but this place was the worst place I've ever stayed. Do yourself a favour and just sleep in your car.…
A group of 10 of us stopped at this hotel on our way to Nashville just to get a quick sleep. The rooms were covered with mold through out, once we could see in the morning. The smell not good ,the bugs in the night ,most of the group got no sleep,so up early an on our way.Once we are out side most of the rooms had ripped or not even there screens on the window. Then met some of the locals outside that LIVE all year in this hotel!!!! Its more of a hostel then a hotel!!! Nice little kitchen room that's just used for storage.DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE we did.
Very good motel for the price. Everything worked well: TV, refrigerator, microwave. Clean bathroom. Comfortable king sized bed. Free wifi worked fine. For the area, this hotel is a great deal and an affordable option. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms on the second floor overlooking a field are very quiet. Not like the reviews shown in below, absolutely great place for people who needs good quiet night sleep
I found this place worth money and people are friendly and the area is safe, party store open late night. They have an ice vending machine and indoor swimming pool. I found a subway fast food and two other restaurants very near to this motel(2minites walk). I noticed a lighthouse with a beach, people said this place attracts many people for fishing.
