Had one of the best vacations here and loved the hotel! Clean and very attractive. Rooms are small because it is an old hotel which is part of its charm. Food was absolutely delicious and staff was wonderful. I would and hope to, go back. You have a wonderful feeling of being "somewhere in time".

Great location, very clean rooms and breakfast is amazing! We love going for walks along the harbor. Don't miss Fort Mackinaw and all the Civil War reenactments. Great fudge. I will return again this summer.

loved the view out front of our window!! don't know if it would be worth it however to look out over the pool or back area( rather trashy looking ) The staff was very friendly especially the cleaning ladies! We chose to eat there in the restaurant both nights because it was very good! Loved the idea of the late...

We make a one week family trip every other year and have been staying at the Island House every visit. The location and old island charm are better than anyplace on the island. Access to everything, quiet, and only the sound of the horse clip-clop.

We loved staying at the Island Hotel - the rooms were clean and roomy, and our family of 4 (with 2 young kids) enjoyed the pool, great location, friendly staff, and bonus fireside s'mores treats in the evening. We will defintely come again.

We were excited to stay. Disappointed in restaurant service... I don't want excuses why you aren't attending to our table. The host even offered a free drink because Carter sucked. And when we went to roast stores, non guests surrounded the fire pits. Overall a very expensive lesson, but now we can say been there done that. May come back...

We had a very good time at the Island house. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had to change rooms because I would walk up stairs because of a knee injury, however, going down was ok. Every one was very nice.

“Make sure when you take advantage of a package, check to see if it is per night, or per reservation. I stayed multiple nights, as the offer was per night. When I arrived, they didn't want to honor it. I was fortunate enough to have printed off the offer and reservation and brought it with me. ”
