The Cottage Inn is a great place to stay if you are visiting Macinac Island. The location is very close to downtown but off the main street so it is cozy and quiet. The Bridge room was great, it had A/C and great water pressure for the shower. The hosts were very nice and offering suggestions on how to use...

Wow, where to start? Everyone was so friendly, even though it is extremely late in their season and they are sure to be weary and ready to be in their own homes once again for the winter, and it was a full house, 0 vacancies both nights we were there! You step in the door and feel like you're at...

Would definitely stay again. Jean, John and Rose were so welcoming. Our room was a perfect size and very clean. You can hear the horses and carriages from your room. Breakfast was delicious. They have dvds popcorn and afternoon fudge. If you bring your own wine they have a wine opener and glasses. It's like they've thought of everything. Great...

This was our first visit to this beautiful bed and breakfast. We walked I and was immediately greeted by the innkeeper. She was so friendly and explained everything so well. We were put completely at ease. The rooms were so comfortable and very clean! The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. A definite return trip is in the future.

We stayed at the Cottage Inn for 2 nights. It is incredibly convenient (2 minute walk from Arnold Ferry). The new innkeepers in training (Rose and John) are super friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to book room 22, which appears to be the only room with a private balcony. Also a gorgeous view of the Fort looming to...

We stayed for 3 nights in the first week in October. It was very nice. John & Jean are excellent hosts. Excellent breakfast and relaxed atmosphere. Beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the Bridge Room on the top floor. This room is a bit small. Will probably get a little larger room next time. Weather was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Inn. The inn is well maintained and very clean. John and Jean were friendly and helpful, and John spent time explaining a great walking route and suggesting places to eat. The hot breakfast each morning was tasty and started our day off right. We'll definitely consider a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Inn. The inn is VERY well maintained and clean. The food was delicious. The innkeepers are very sweet. We really enjoyed chatting with them. They offered great suggestions for things to do and places to eat dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the island. Highly recommend!
