Seven years ago my mom paid for all her kids to stay here for one night in August I believe. I remember having a wonderful time and was exciting I could book it again from my sister and I this past weekend for one of the two nights we were on the island. Last time we had a smaller room...

We booked here as a 2 day getaway. This B&B is a great place to stay. Cleanliness, friendliness, accommodations, breakfast - all top notch. Staff is always asking if there is something more that you need, or if everything is okay. Paula, who was cleaning our floor, was friendly, very informative; and it was fun talking to her. All in...

My title is a nice way of saying our room was very small. We were on the top floor and our room was in the dormer. The pitch of the ceiling was over the bed causing you to hit your head if you tried to sit up in bed. Had to scoot to the end of the bed to get...

We have been staying at the Inn on Mackinac for four years. It is known as the quiet Inn, but that doesn't mean they don't allow children. The rooms vary in size and decor giving each a homey feel. Beds are comfortable. Their breakfast is average, including oatmeal, 2 cereal choices, scrambled eggs and sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a...

Late anniversary weekend away. The inn is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Our room was on the 4th floor, it was so peaceful. Definitely would stay here again. It close enough to everthing downtown without all the noise.

We were pleasantly surprised with this very well maintained bed & breakfast. It wasn't in the heart of the downtown however it was very close. The room was immaculate & the staff was very welcoming & helpful. We were there on a hot day so the pool out back was nice, along with the A/C in our room. There were...

Stayed here for our annual girl's weekend. Have stayed here for several years. The room above us was very noisy. Reported to the front desk, but nothing happened. The blinds are very thin and the outdoor lights light up the room making it difficult to sleep. Also, the television and hair dryer are very old and don't work well. Haul...

Amazing! We stayed on the fifth floor. It was incredibly clean, the breakfast was delicious, the snacks they had( cheese crackers and lemonade, during the afternoon, as well as all the coffee, hot chocolate, and hot tea you wanted) and cookies before bed were all wonderful! Our maid Paula was wonderful. She made it like Disney for our daughter who...

Once again we enjoyed our stay here, always clean, beds comfortable, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast offerings to get your day started before exploring the island and our favorite spot is their porch to relax, read or play cards on the tables or as some families do,pick up a meal from somewhere in town bringing it back here. Cheese, crackers and lemonade in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The year was 1867, an era of horse-drawn carriages and ladies in bustles. Blacksmiths were crafting horse shoes in glowing forges. During this height of Victorian culture, the Inn on Mackinac was built. Known then as Chateau Beaumont in memory of the famous Army surgeon at Fort Mackinac, the Inn on Mackinac has retained its quaint, old fashioned charm. The Inn’s facilities have been updated to meet the needs of the modern traveler while preserving its colorful history. Today, completely remodeled and redecorated, this beautiful Victorian Inn opens its doors, where the very special charm of our family-run Inn awaits you. ... more   less
