The room was clean and neat. We stayed for only about an hour though. Unfortunately, my wife took a nasty fall in the breakfast room on Saturday, Sept 17th, at about 4 p.m. Due to the injury we felt it necessary to drive home before it became a painful trip the next day. The staff witnessed the fall so there...

Got two rooms for 3 nights. Were in town for Tractors crossing the bridge and Mackinac Island Race. Was the perfect hotel. Clean. Wonderful people. So very helpful. We would have missed the tractors all together if it wasn't for their advice! The view was amazing. We were facing the bridge.

Appears to be a nice place to stay looks clean was easy to check in. Next morning woke up to our bathroom floor cover in thousands of ants, picked a bag up off the floor and set it on a chair and the bag was covered in ants. When I reported to the office they said I must of had...

Has anyone else had issues with refunds on cancellation. We rented a room for Saturday & Sunday over the phone around 3pm arrive at 6 PM. Around 8 PM we got a call for a family emergency. I went to see the manager to tell him that we had a family emergency and that we would like to cancel the...

My wife, daughter and I stayed in a "Large Family Room w/ 3 double beds" Fri-Sun. The room was clean, but had a strong lemon/solvent odor, probably due to using too much cleaner. I opened the window and it seemed to air out pretty well. The beds were a little firm, but that was OK as I prefer them that...

We arrived quite late, and the gentleman at the desk was wonderful! Super friendly, fast, and gave us a great deal. The room was very clean, small, but we weren't there to hang out in the room! We had a really nice view of the bridge and the straights. The location was nice - close to the park, and only...

BF booked this room for a spur of the moment trip. He was hugely disappointed. Our room was in an alcove off the balcony. It had hot water pipes running along the ceiling(classy) No toothpaste- they told him he could go to the game room to purchase some. No toothpaste anywhere. They gave us one wash cloth. One wash cloth........

Rooms are clean and larger than newer hotels. Furniture is dated, but in excellent condition. The free breakfast is pretty minimal, but works. Bottom line, I paid $200 less for this room than one of the "chains" down the street wanted for the same room type. We will stay again. Not a luxury hotel, but well kept, clean and an...

Worst customer service I've ever experienced once you've paid they stop caring about helping out. Apparently there is never any management on site. I would never consider suggesting this place to anybody. If you can find another motel in mackinaw anywhere is better than this place.
