My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Wilderness Room for our 10 year anniverary trip. The bed was HUGE!! and SOOOoooo comfortable. The claw footed tub was just what we needed to soak in at the end of our long days out and about adventuring in the area. (everytime we left for the day and returned our...

We stayed in the Wilderness Room. It was roomy, light, and peaceful. The hosts, Nancy and Barry, were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. The B&B is one block off the main shopping area and restaurants. It is also only a few blocks to the ferry.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, run by a husband (Barry) and wife (Nancy) team. Located in their immaculate home, there are 5 themed rooms, all with their own bathrooms, beautifully, tastefully decorated. Every morning breakfast is served, and what a breakfast it is-wonderfully prepared dishes such as oatmeal casserole, Eggs Benedict, sausage and egg casserole, fresh fruits, and various side dishes-...

Our family group was made up of 3 adult couples, and we stayed in the Bear Room, Wilderness Room, and the Hiawatha Room. We stayed one night on our way to Pictured Rocks. We were all very impressed by the beautiful house, the deco in the rooms, and definitely the hospitality of our hosts, who knew everything about the area...

Wonderful owners Nancy and Berry!! They were very accommodating!! I have a milk allergy and she went our of her way to make sure I had an amazing breakfast! Our room was very clean and comfortable. I felt like we were in a chalet on Tennessee! We will be visiting here again!!

We were the only couple at the B&B so we were upgraded for free to a room with a bigger bathroom. That was just within the first 5 minutes! Barry and Nancy were warm and welcoming, provided great restaurant recommendations for dinner, and served a delicious breakfast. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Our room was large, pleasant, and spotlessly clean. The cast iron tub was wonderful! The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully served. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this B&B.

Found myself in Mackinaw City on business (!) in early April, and could not have been more pleased with my stay at the Deer Head Inn. The Innkeepers went out of their way to make me feel comfortable - even offering me Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream in the evening as I was working on my laptop in the dining room....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend, and it was the best bed and breakfast experience I've ever had! The hosts, Barry and Nancy, are very accommodating, take the time to talk with their guests, and cook amazing breakfasts! We made friends with some other guests at the Inn, and every morning at breakfast Barry would regale us...

Hubby and I snuck away for a long weekend and stayed in "The Wilderness Room" at the Deer Head Inn - oh my gosh, what fun! Beautiful (and comfortable!) king size bed, with a stained glass window behind us. Large suite which extended into the bathroom area, with one of those two sided gas fireplaces heating both sides. Hard wood...
